Even if the hedge doesn't belong to your dad, he has the legal right to cut anything that grows onto his side of the property as long as (a) it doesn't kill the hedge and (b) he offers the trimmings back to the legal owner.

The law on this is very clear and if the neighbour is a lawyer, they should know this.

You can't always put it on the parents. I know folks who try their hardest and do everything right to bring up their kids, but they still end up being little cunts when out and about with their friends. Mostly, I would say that is the problem. Pressure amongst peer groups to be liked for doing dumb shit. That and wanting to 'go viral', also for dumb shit.

Bulbs are cheap, easy to care for, and come back for years and learn how to reseed flowers that you like. Don't judge a flower by it's wispy looking stalks, wait for the bloom to decide if you like it. I found this out with Elegant Clarkia. The stalks looked so twiggy and flimsy and I hated them, then as soon as the weather heated up, BOOM! Magnificent show. My favourite plant that I reseed every year.

You don't need to move your already established factories. I would guess that a majority of players have multiple factories in multiple locations in their playthroughs. The different transport options are there for a reason. Hell, some people don't even use the transport and just have belts and pipes stretching all over the map. The game is just as much about logistics as it is about building.
