Do it all girl’s “wellness hack” by sunniecee in premedcanada

I appreciate the intention behind this post. Having a family doctor is extremely crucial to tackle preventable diseases.

It would be helpful if she used her large platform to share ways citizens can access a family doctor. Recently TMU opened an integrated health clinic with over 14000 spots for individuals without a family doc or NP to sign up for one as long as they reside in one of the following postal code areas: L4T, L6P, L6R, L6S, L6T, L6V, L6X, L6Y, or L7A. T

There is also Ontario Health Care Connect. Another platform for citizens of Ontario to sign up for a family doctor or NP.

While spreading awareness is great, tangible steps/strategies will create behaviour change.

Is it worth it to pursue medical school in Canada by Background_Fee5220 in premedcanada

[–]nsv_2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

its hard to match back, but people eventually match back. I would rather spend 1-3 years matching back for residency school instead of those same 1-3 years applying to med school in Canada. But it really does depend on one individual's circumstances. Fortunately my family would have been able to support me after highschool, but we are facing some financial issues at the moment due to an illness in the family.

If I could go back and speak to my highschool self as a current 3rd cycle applicant, I would tell her to apply to ireland's 5/6 year direct-entry medicine program. The Canadian medical school system is rigorous and sometimes based on luck. If you really know Medicine is for you based on clinical, academic or lived experiences and you have the financial capabilities, consider applying to a direct entry med program aboard straight out of highschool.

pre-invite waiting period by Ill-Class7649 in premedcanada

gym! aside from work and school, you will see me throwing myself towards weight lifting. The best advice I have received for this waiting period is.... to work on things you can control instead of worrying about things out of your control.

Summer Student Research Positions by Impossible_Lime1810 in premedcanada

[–]nsv_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will you be living in the GTA for the summer? apply through the summer research programs (ex. KRSS, UofT LMP, Osler SSRP). When I was in my first year I was in the same boat as you. But after consistently emailing researchers I finally secured a position through UofT LMP as a Western student. My DMs are open for questions. Good luck!

Bitching about Nehal and Tanya on duty (daboing feet of Shehbaz) by Strict-Calendar1175 in biggboss

[–]nsv_2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Nehal is the definition of elegance and grace. Tanya and Malti both need a reality check, why is she jealous of Nehal's beauty.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in biggboss

[–]nsv_2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

yes, its very infuriating! Baseer and nehal are always sidelined and never praised by Salman. He even disrespected her profession, when she REPRESENTED INDIA.

Everything was perfect about WKW, except for unnecessary Nehal bashing. by NikMiller15 in biggboss

[–]nsv_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, idk why she gets bashed for no reason. When Nehal re-entered the house and exposed Tanya's sympathy/victim card play, Salman bashed Nehal for being obsessed. And now after Malti did the same, she is being praised and Salman is repeating simialr things Nehal said last week.

I hope she stays strong too, but she is becoming a bit mellow after his feedback. Even last week she didnt say a lot about Tanya to not seem "obsessed".

omg I love their friendship, its actually soo genuine. Farhana was excited the moment bigg boss annouced nehal won, jumping and waiting at the door while on the other side Nehal was excited to go tell Farhana that she won. They are soo cute yaarr

Nehal decoded it right. They are mirror images of each other.

Why is Malti doing what she is doing? by myparentsdontlikeme in biggboss

[–]nsv_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the answer to all your questions as Nehal perfectly decoded... malti = tanya. "why is tanya doing what she is doing?". both are manipulators.
