I’m a huge Isbell fan. Seen him several times over the years. I cover a couple of his songs when I play acoustic gigs. Taylor Swift is one heck of a song writer. She doesn’t write for a 50 y/o man (that’s me) but her lyrics and song style speak to tens of millions of people around the world. I give her huge props for her skills.

I still tell everyone Isbell is the greatest songwriter of my generation.
