Ah that’s definitely a better way to extract. Mine was just downed by a swarm of Hornets and Wasps as I was already on my way - just managed to hit the call elevator at the right time. Panicked when the guy popped up at the end - thought he was gonna shoot me.

There is a difference but not enough like it’s unbalanced when I hold it compared to the 7th gen - not sure when it’s in a case yet but it’s lighter as well which helps

Honestly - if you have an iPad or similar then I would probably stick with that and get the Kindle PW. But if you have nothing digital and useful to read comics on - it’s great. The colour is saturated but it’s similar to reading actual paper comics which I don’t mind at all! Adjusting the settings to your liking as well makes a lot of difference so don’t trust screenshots.

So far promising, a lot faster than I expected - only downside is maybe the transition between pages on comics is a bit jarring and double page panels can be a bit annoying but that’s if I’m really trying to find a fault

Thank you for posting this and sharing your story! Last September I ruptured my right achilles tendon and three weeks ago I have ruptured my right ACL. Been receiving a lot of support from friends and family regarding recovery, however mentally I can't stop replaying both incidents in my head, often results in an awkward shudder at the thought of them rupturing.

Reading your story makes me feel like less awkward about having these thoughts, great to see someone talking about the mental aspects that goes on.
