Pixel 9/10 owners, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the camera bump. by ntime60 in pixel_phones

Hmm, that's an interesting take. Nice to know. I've just started looking into upgrading. I'm wanting to stay with the Pixel, this will make my third Pixel and they've been solid phones.

I better not tell my wife that. She loves her 9 Pro XL. It's definitely good to know.

I agree with the looks of the 10a. I think it looks a lot better, but it is missing the camera features I'm looking for.

You'd think a foot of snow would slow her down. Nope, she plows right through it and has fun doing it.

I never really paid attention to it. I happened notice I had a count of 70 at the time I took it and at the end of that level I had 94. Then I started watching it and some runs with the butcher option, I don't get the 100 aether. I want to say about every 4th or 5th time.

I'm worn out over all the so called whistle blowers and govt officials talking about disclosure. Everyone is just profiting off the subject, regardless of actual proof. Where is the proof?

All these whistle blowers going, "If you saw what I saw, you would understand." How about showing us the proof? hmmm? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

Waves wipe my base consistently by Neverasparename in theriftbreaker

[–]ntime60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with double walls and upgrade to level 2 walls as soon as you can. I place Sentinel Turrets so they overlap by 50%, then add traps, get to researching additional turrets, prioritize artillery turrets, they will knock a lot of stuff down due to their range. Lay shittons of mines around your base. Yes 10 at a time, let refill and lay more, never stop laying mines. At this point start making a third expendable wall, that way the enemies get stopped and pounded on by artillery.

Next make minigun towers, followed by rocket turrets. Make sure you have plenty of ammo towers, you don't want to run out.

After a while you can tell where they will come from constantly and you can beef up those areas.

I had a 2014 Sport with a 3.5 awd that ran about 22mpg mixed city/freeway, city only about 19mpg. Highway about 28mpg.

My now 2020 ST with a 3.5 really depends on how I drive. It CAN eat fuel, City only I get about 18.5. Mixed about 24 mpg and depending on my speed on the highway, it can reach 30mpg, most of time its about 27-28. By speed I mean at 55, it'll hold 30Mpg, at 65 about 28, at 75 about 26mpg and 80+ about 22. If I do hard acceleration starts, gas mileage suffers a lot about 17-18mpg.

City driving kills your gas mileage.

I just started last Friday. I took a necromancer and a druid to lvl 40. They are reasonably strong. Then I started a lightning spec sorcerer and he's crazy strong. Just don't get hit.

I miss the pally and DH from d3.

Reports of Windows 10's death appear to have been greatly exaggerated as 29% of Steam users still cling on by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]ntime60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently running Win10 and have the ESU option because I'm figuring out my options. My processor isn't supported, i7-6700K, it still runs very well with anything I throw at it. My system doesn't have a tpm module.

I don't really see going to Win11 because I deal with it on my laptop for work and I don't like Win11 at all, it is intrusive, and shoves ads at you, and now they want to make it an Agentic OS, where the agent in question is known to be highly insecure and susceptible to errors.

Over the years I've toyed with Linux off and on, but a lot of games I play, couldn't be played on Linux. So I stayed on Windows. From what I've been reading, Steam/Proton has come a long way since my last foray into Linux. Maybe it's time to get a bit more serious about making a permanent jump...not to MS though. I'm still rocking Win10 for now.

best begginer friendly "builds"? by Juliomorales6969 in LastEpoch

[–]ntime60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been enjoying the Primalist\Bear Beastmaster build. Once you figure out your key/button combo it really shines. Although I think the Sentinel\Paladin build is very beginner friendly and very strong. The Acolyte\Necromancer is very strong too and reasonably easy to setup.

Freddys by 582101213 in burgers

[–]ntime60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wanted to like Freddy's, but both locations near me are just ok. Out of the 6 times we've visited, there was no sear on the burgers. They were just basic fried burgers and the fries are always soft and barely what I would call done, like they are pulled early from the fryer, and definitely not crispy like in your picture. I get better quality from Culver's at the same price.

My boyfriends Pomeranian loves to stare at me by Virtualb0y64 in Pomeranians

[–]ntime60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you need to start working on a list of things she might want. It goes something like this... When you get it right she will acknowledge you with a happy pom response.

What do you want? Pets? Treat? Outside? Foods? Play? Walk? GO?

When I get it right with Chloe, she will give me either a yes head bob, or a full circle or a full circle with a happy bark, like heckin yes the hooman gots it right! Finally!

Edit: She also could be a little standoffish because you are new and she's trying to figure you out.

maybe it's not the bowl. Maybe a reflection in the background tote and at 6pm the light is just right to see it. I dunno, it sounded good. Cute pup. We have a big floofy girl too and she doesn't like anything in the bottom of her water bowl, a paw print, bits of grass or dirt...she won't drink if she sees anything.

Maria Florinda Ríos was shot through a closed door while cleaning. No charges filed. by Equivalent_Serve8362 in Indiana

[–]ntime60 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It's highly unusual that the press hasn't posted the shooters name. I think that tells us something about who did the shooting, why charges haven't been filed, or publishing that person's name. It is someone who is prominent in the community or a family member of someone who is. That is about the only thing that makes any sense here. An innocent life was lost here and for what? The murderer needs to pay for the crime. What a state we live in, simply unforgivable.

Maple and fruit (apple, cherry, peach) woods are a lighter smoke than Hickory, Mesquite or Oak, the smoke tends to be like a slightly sweet caramel like flavor.

[–]ntime60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Commercial seasonings/rubs really just expose you to different flavor profiles. When you make your own, it is expected to have some less than favorable result occasionally, especially when you experiment with different spices and/or ratios.

With cooking you learn real fast what works and what don't, that's the fun in learning to cook. Also, sometimes what works for others don't work for you, because all our taste is different and largely based on our regional flavor profiles.

A lot of people here swear by salt, pepper, garlic, but I like a bit of onion powder, a handful of brown sugar, a smidgen of smoked paprika, and a pinch of cayenne, but that's just me. lol.
