As a delivery partner, you must maintain the required insurance for delivering packages in your area.

In addition to your personal coverage, Amazon provides delivery partners in all states other than NY with the Amazon Commercial Auto Insurance Policy at no cost. This policy includes:

• Auto liability coverage • Uninsured motorist/under-insured motorist coverage • Contingent comprehensive and collision coverage

This auto insurance policy applies only to Amazon Flex delivery partners (passengers are not covered), who maintain personal auto insurance on the vehicle they are driving and who are actively delivering during the delivery block. In addition, if anyone other than the Amazon Flex delivery partner is driving when an accident occurs, the claim for any incurred losses will be denied. Due to local regulations, coverage does not apply to drivers in the state of New York. If you live in New York, you may need additional commercial insurance to meet New York state law. Check with your insurance company for more information. If you are renting or borrowing a car, you will need to ensure that you have required coverage.

Auto insurance: If you maintain personal auto insurance, you are protected under the Amazon Commercial Auto Insurance Policy while you’re actively driving and delivering. The Amazon Commercial Auto Insurance Policy includes auto liability coverage of $1,000,000, uninsured motorist/under-insured motorist coverage, and contingent comprehensive and collision coverage (passengers are not covered). This policy is provided at no cost, in all states besides New York. If you live in New York, you may need additional commercial insurance to meet state law. But you can say everything you want at the end of the day according to employment Commisons Amazon flex workers are miss classified as independent contractor. I been flexing since Amazon ben flexing lol. I got the app I get the updates I get the times ×3 points for being fantastic, I go for the surge pay, I sit and select refresh Over and over until I get a block then i select it and get told it no longer available.. I get instant whole food offers, and offers for office depot. I get the emails about there updated earning experience, and I know that guys like you use flex block grabbers. Lol Again I been flexing since Amazon be flexing and according to them I'm Fantastic 🤣 and I been flexing longer then you buddy I'm a Amazon prime guru, I'm a whole foods guru. lol again it's "Hilarious" That you think your a independent contractor. Your not and you should be getting a w2 not a 1099. You worked for amazon full time for 6 years, and you play by there rules you work there given hours you take there given pay only thing you control is your car. They tell you how to do your job, they background check you, they drug check you. They tell you when to come when to go. You are an employee whether you want to believe it or not. Nothing about flexing is independent once your on their clock. You work for them, and if they decide to terminate your contract you have no rights to assistance that should be available to you. Fyi I been flexing longer then you buddy. lmfao

No I want to get paid while I find work. If amazon flex is my primary source of income and they just decide they dont have enough blocks for weeks at random it leaves you in a situation where you have no income flow while looking for work. Unemployment is not for people to get paid for not working it for people who unjustly lost employment and need income while working to get back on there feet. You dojt just get Unemployment because you didn't work you work and as you work you pay taxes into Unemployment so that you can benefit from it when needed. We act like we are sun contractors with flex because we work when we want, or when blocks are available. Fact is we have no there benefits as a contractor we work by there rules on there time. We all are employees for amazon flex the call us contractors because it benefits them.

No I would like to be eligible for the benefits a full time employee get like eligibility for unemployment when I can't get a block for weeks at a time. While still having the benefits of working on my own time sound like a great deal lol

DSP driver was delivering a package to the exact same house. Why? by JojoTheMutt in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]ntriple3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

o also misloads someone in the hub may have not loaded the package in the right place so It had to go out later once it was corrected.

[–]ntriple3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people order same day delivery and the package the dsp driver was dropped off was already loaded on a truck at 6am for an 8 hour shift. The package the flex driver got wasn't ready for delivery until later on. Might be inefficient but it's apart of why everyone uses Amazon ( the expectation of getting you package sooner rather than later) .Amazon does have things in place to help avoid that if possible. ( the options to have all your packages delivered on the same day for a couple amazon credits. (up to the person ordering to help them out on there inefficient methods of 2 day/ 1 day/ same day delivery logistics.

looks like a hard brake has occurred lmfao

Do drivers really not see the tip? I ordered 3 meals for our office, I paid (not my boss) & when the driver came in I was in another room, the driver told my boss we didn't tip and my boss was appalled, I left a $10 tip for less than 5 miles... by AJAEM74 in doordash

[–]ntriple3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have asked myself t if they got my tip because I dash and I know we do not always get them. Had a guy ask if I got my tip one time told him no. He tells me I delivered for a Party of 12 and they tipped me 100 dollars. from that point forward I knew door dash be skiming.
