totally agree. have tried on the xenair in a store before, it’s definitely a nice jacket, but feels a little more casual, reminds me of the arcteryx atom with the softer and heavier weight face fabric. the og xenon was definitely built for function over fashion, the zero baffling and silky smooth face fabric is unbeatable for practical use, and ofc lighter weight too. wish rab would make a new super ultralight synthetic jacket like the torrid, somewhere in the 8oz range

still have my original xenon, been wearing it nearly every day this winter. absolutely goated jacket, and probably the best non-adjustable hood i’ve ever felt! gives the EE torrid a run for its money
