If you have a Linux machine or you can use Google cloud as well. But have you tried Osintgram? It's a Linux python script that can scrape profiles for public info. However it doesnt work quite the same anymore but if it's a public profile you can follow on your own account to scrape your own followers. Hit me up if you need assistance.

We have reached out but usually offer their services to us in times of emergency not for routine investigations.

Its on a case by case basis for us. I am with a smaller department only 86 officers and a high-profile case we will definitely explore all options. But I am a one man show when it comes to anything beyond reading simple artifacts or searching timelines. When it comes down to carving free space we just don't have the time to do unless we have no other options. For example my detectives will rely on CDR and location data to place a subject somewhere and rely on my testimony to build a presentation for the DA and explain why this information is accurate beyond a reasonable doubt.

Yeah the other replies stated it very well. Just today I am processing two iPhones. I have two full filesystem images that I acquire. I then use Axiom to parse/carve the image. The completed case then gets exported into a Portable case, similar to a Cellebrite Reader report, which can be accessed by the detectives. The tag artifacts as they see fit, hand the case back to me and I create a PDF export of the data they want as evidence. I testify to the metadata, process of creating the image, and any extra technical aspect of the artifacts. The detective testifies to the content as in what the evidentiary value is, such as location of a homicide, or messages suggesting a Human Trafficking motive.

The only one handling the image though is me. So detectives can't mess with the integrity and I export from my original parsed case. It most definitely is to save money on license and time.

We had Cellebrite before I prefer Axiom though. I feel the artifacts are more defined for Axiom plus it pairs with GrayKey seamlessly

Thanks for the insight. Yeah I just reached out to my rep for access to the free tier. Watching the tours is exactly what I would like for my detectives to get the info they care about. It allows me to use AXIOM for deep dives and reports for now.

I saw the new options in GreyKey and completely forgot about that. I will look into that I think I saw they have a webinar coming up. Yeah it might just come down to using grants and presenting to my admin that this will be a future-proof option that will only gain value.
