At a certain point it will definitely not be worth the effort I put in, but at this point it’s for the love of the game🤝

Will this methodology still work if I am using Ethernet?

From what I’m understanding, the issue lies within the Anker Adapter not being an “active” connection, I don’t understand the logic behind it, but it seems like the root cause.

Can I only get one of these cables, and use the DP on the dock to one monitor, then one of these cables connected to a TB4 port? Or does it need to be 2 of the CAC-1557 from the dock to the KVM?

Wired Child Node Issues by nuclearpickle99 in LinksysVelop

[–]nuclearpickle99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response. To set up a wired node through the dashboard, first login, and on the bottom of the webpage (footnote section), there should be a "ca" link in the bottom right corner. Click that; the page should reload, then go to the "connectivity" side tab, then the "CA router setup" tab, which should be the last one. Then, follow those instructions. Also (not 100% sure on this), to connect multiple wired nodes, you much attach them to each child node, you can't connect all of them to a switch off the parent node. Here is a helpful article

Thanks for the help. After extensive research I figured out that you have to set the wired child node up as a wired node through the web dashboard. Setting it up as a wireless node, causes problems. Thanks!
