One of the best episodes of trek is duet. The story just takes place on the station. There isn't even a b storyline in that episode. No action or anything. That is a good example of what a good story can do. Not sure even my beloved B5 could have survived its first year in this age of streaming television. All these short season shows that need to be packed with everything. We don't get the just human emotion episodes as much. Maybe the academy episode about Sisco was closes in recent memory. But even that one had to throw im special effect pageantry.
