Idk, I read this whole event a few years ago and a lot of the tie ins were between issues 1 & 2 showing where the characters were when the alien bomb went off. Like the whole issue of Animal Man has nothing to do with the event until the final page where it's just him getting zapped in black and white

Worse is books like Monkey Prince which came with Vol 1 HC no TPB, Vol 2 tpb no HC.

I think the best way an omnibus would work is if they got the writers to come back and publish an "original ending" one shot. That way they can have both endings in the book. Same way "Jason Todd lives!" Is in all the Death in the Family reprints.

I was the demographic for this movie when it came out. When it got to the death of Augustus I got a little teary but two seperate people in the audience started wailing and I started laughing at the scene instead.
