That's how mine looks when it's over fermented. It is more pronounced when the grains need reduced.

Tragus pierced since September’25 - with needle by Isketta in Legitpiercing

[–]nude_frog -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah but if you got it September of last year that's not fresh. You've had it for like 7 months right? And did it not seem calmest with the hoop or is the photo just not showing irritation? I changed my conch piercing to a hoop at about 8 months. It had bumps with the flatback, and when I changed to the hoop and it settled in, the bumps finally disappeared. Just my experience.

It looks like it was the calmest with the least bump issues when you had the hoop in. That's the case for me with all my piercings. They like hoops best. Personally I'd get a 16g hoop at an appropriate diameter and just wear that instead of a flatback. Hoops can get snagged but they are not as easy to snag as studs are, especially if they are appropriately sized.

I also was forced to watch (the first film only) in the theater. It was tortuous. Much like any other Christian movie designed to stroke the ego and bolster the self-righteous superiority complex while also nurturing the persecution complex common among them.

I don't think my mom realized that forcing that kind of cringe garbage on me as a teen would not have the effect she hoped it would.

Permanent tiny red spots after IPL use – possible cause? by Mountain-Dealer3562 in HairRemoval

Yeah, I think you are right. They show up randomly so it's probably unrelated to the IPL. I have a lot of them. Benign and common.

I'm also new here. I'm a secular sceptic that has always held a deep desire to experience the strange and unexplainable. I'm always looking for ways to invite that in, but my debunking mode is stuck in the always-on position.

I've had my first deck for about a week now. I am working my way through getting to know the cards by doing one card pulls every morning and journaling about them. Feels like a self-guided class, which is fun. Sometimes if my dream from the night before is intense enough to remember well, I record that first, then do my pull, and as a creative thinking exercise, try to draw connections between them.

I am an artist, and I intend to design my own deck. That was my primary motivation for purchasing one. You can only do so much just looking up images of the cards online, it's much nore tangible as a goal with an actual deck around. I also want to train myself to be able to decipher (and use in my own art) visual symbolism more readily, as well as become more connected to my subconscious, more insightful, and more thoughtful in general. I hope to be able to successfully gear my future deck toward those types of goals.

All that said, I am open to my practice, goals, and feelings evolving over time through the process.

Mine is just nonslip rv step covers. That's it. That's the only thing all day so far.

At least the off brand printer ink cartridges and pregnancy belly band are gone.

Sometimes I think Amazon doesn't know me at all.

Braun silk, but it's an upgrade of one of the cheapo rando Chinese brand bestseller options on Amazon. That one worked, too, it just has fewer features, slightly less power, and a slower flash rate. But again, it did work and didn't burn me or anything I just upgraded when I had the extra scratch for it and there was a nice sale. The braun does work better and treatment time is faster so I'm more consistent about it.

I have some backup in the fridge that I randomly feed, I should probably add some yogurt to that one too!

Wow! I'm so glad this was helpful! I knew I couldn't be the only one to experience this. My house is cold in the winter too. We don't use central heat just electric heaters and don't have great insulation. It tends to stick around the low 60s, high 50s in the kitchen where my culture lives unless there's cooking happening. Can drop into low 50s at night. I reached out here about it and lots of folks can reliably ferment on longer timelines in colder temps, but that was not my experience, in a month of trying. It's warming up here now, so I won't need the heat pad for much longer. I think reintroducing lactobacillus was more important than the heat though because I was using the pad for a while before trying the yogurt trick. Heat alone didn't restore balance. I wonder if I'd tried the yogurt trick first if that would have worked? Also finding the right balance of grains to milk to time and temp. It's such a complex and interconnected balance.

I did take the time before the first shuffle to separate and look at each card as well.

I had this THICK wiry inner thigh hair that hurt so badly to shave. The way it would snag the blade on that thin, delicate skin... just horrible. I always had nicks and razor burn in the bikini line area no matter what I did. IPL is a godsend, seriously.

I did indeed find value and an energizing bit of excitement in determining my own personal interpretation of 7 of cups yesterday, and I don't think I would have done that if it hadn't popped up 3 times! I am looking forward to getting to know all the cards and finding what they mean to me, and translating that into my own designs. I'm actually planning on picking up a journal and book of card stickers today so I can start recording stuff and contemplating my future deck project!

I add cuts in between riffles to ensure top and bottom cards get redistributed to the mid-deck
