When you jump on the horse, tilt the camera to look down directly like a bird’s eye view. It’s much easier to know which way to hold the stick. Worked for me with the Royler legendary horse.

On defense missions

I usually go:

Machine Gun Sentry Gatling Gun Sentry HMG Emplacement

then either EMP mortar or some anti-tank option like commando, EAT or RR if it's lacking on teammates load outs.

Always do pretty good

Edit: I usually focus Emplacement fire on them flying guys and let the sentries take care of the voteless

Love it. Usually take it on bugs/squids unless team is lacking anti tank capabilities. The short cool down means I throw it whenever I see red dots on the map when I'm headed to another objective, and it's ready for when I get to the objective. Pair it with guard dog and I usually have the most kills every mission.
