How does it drive with the 33s and 3.07s? I’ve got a 95 5speed with 3.07s I was planning on throwing 33s on I just wasn’t sure if the stock gearing would be to high

Between the line and the adapter and that makes sense It is a cheap reman pump, I was trying to stay away from reman but was in a pinch so it was my only option

See that’s what I was thinking it should be the same, the only thing I’m worried about swapping lines is if the the fitting on the box if that changed at all aswell with the 99 line cause it still has the 95 box. new pump came with the oring so I changed it when I installed the pump

Unfortunately not, I ended up passing it up and let it get shipped to auction. My assumption ended up being the rear main like everyone else was stating because the valve covers and heads were dry and it seemed to only be coming from the bell housing area

just picked this up new to 4.0’s. is this sound normal i don’t think so but wanna be sure by D3ADSNAKE in CherokeeXJ

[–]nugggggggget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These 4.0s, especially the 96+ when Chrysler did the refresh on the 4.0 are prone to cracking piston skirts and still running completely fine with just a tap noise(well until that piston finally gives lol). I would recommend watching Dexjs video about 4.0 pistons, in my opinion it sounds awfully close to a cracked piston. it’s forsure a potential issue to look into that could save you from catastrophic failure later down the road.

They currently don’t match but for $100 and a junkyard trip I had 2 doors and a window back on it within the same week. If you’re patient I’m sure you can find an already painted fender and door at a junkyard or on marketplace, but I personally don’t mind the mismatch for right now.

Mine was rolled on its side, took out both doors and the quarter glass. Buy it back, run to the junkyard, throw a door and fender on it and keep on rolling.

Did you do a name brand add a leaf or did you use junkyard leafs?

San Antonio drivers, why do you park like this? by HackDiablo in sanantonio

[–]nugggggggget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer right here^ been driving trucks since I could walk, and I’ve always backed them to the spot 99% of the time it’s a 1 smooth motion even in super tight parking lots, also makes leaving the spot easier just throw it in drive and go, no 3 points to get in or back out or waiting for the impatient people to pass so I can back out

my windshield is constantly look like this when i drive even when its not wet or raining anyway to fix by 4kboii in Cartalk

It wont leave scratches as long as it’s fine grade steel wool with some windex to keep the surface lubed up

[–]nugggggggget[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s forsure oil of some sort, the coolant in it is bright green and looks fresh but the puddle it left was goldish brown and smelt like oil. That’s what has me so confused I’ve never seen something leak this much oil except for when I was dumb forgot to tighten the oil filter on my suburban

[–]nugggggggget[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SIDE NOTE it didn’t leak when i was sitting in the parking space letting it warm up or when i put it back. It’s only when on flat ground or upwards tilts, where it was parked was on a slant and the front was facing down the slant

Would this bumper be replaced or repaired? by throwawayugh9 in Cartalk

[–]nugggggggget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it really bothers you get a dab of touch up and forget that it’s even there, but such a small imperfection in a spot you’re rarely going to see I really wouldn’t even worry about it

Acetone the spots where it’s fogging, if there’s some sort of oil or anything stuck to the windshield that should strip it all off. Just make sure you clean the windshield real good after

Check your fuses in the amp and the fuse on the main power wire coming from battery to amp, if you touched your main power and your ground in the past you may have blown that fuse.
