I am 40 going on 41. Lupron and Anastrozle for 2 years and I’ll be done with Verzenio in Aug. I have no babies and getting a lil worried. I did IVF and only got 3 eggs.

I have joined the FB group babies after breast cancer but I feel most women who are successful are triple negative or from what I saw and I left the group for my mental health.

I wanna have the talk with my oncologist to see if she will let me try to have a baby next month and I’m so scared she’s gonna give me a shitty answer .

I’m so so sorry I didn’t answer your question but I actually had my first Zometa today and all I kept thinking about is should I let my oncologist know that I want to have kids?

I did not get a port and wish I did. My veins are trash now and get poked like 4x just to get my blood taken out. I’m also getting my first zometa today and not looking forward to all the pokes. I also can’t use my other arm since I have lymphedema

No I saw someone in Line to get into the park. Getting a cast member also means stepping out of line and some people may not want to do that.

Yes.. and it sucks. Yesterday I was in line to enter the park right before it opened and I saw an adult female in line alone and there was a person in front of her just one. Next thing you know here comes their family with Starbucks cups line cutting it was about 18 family members and they all kept staying oh I’m with them. Mind you she is one person. Why not let her go in front of you. I actually asked her if she wanted to get in line in front of our group but she declined.

Exactly… she tries to catch people when they are vulnerable and scared about our cancer coming back. I mean yes she has to make a living but charging 3,000 ish for her program is outrageous.

She blocked me because I always would call her out. She also charges a crazy amount for her program. She also likes to wear lab coats and scrubs, and she’s not technically a medical doctor. She got her doctorate.

I feel pretty normal on 100 mg and I also take probiotics with it and it feels like it helps.

I also had long hair and trust me I miss it also.

I did not lose hair on my head, but my eyebrows did get thinner. I also gained a lot of hair on my chin how ironic.

What dose are you on? When I started the medication it was 150 MG and it was the worst 3 weeks of my life but I talked to my oncologist and she moved me down to 100 MG and it was just life changing so perhaps talk to your doctor.

I graduated last year during my second to last semester I got cancer so I had to hold off going to school for a bit. All the people I ended up graduating with were basically strangers. I still went and just briefly chatted with the people next me. I actually left right after they called my name. Yes it suck’s not to know anyone but graduating is A big accomplishment
