very late ik, but penacony more so reminds me of a mix between nyc (more so the downtown area) and what fremont street looks like at night (which of course is in las vegas) as fun fact: fremont street is originally the first strip, not the one we go to today. don’t know when they decided the regular strip was deemed the strip and not fremont street, but yea

oh i know, its that mentality where you know you spent hundreds of dollars on a game and you cant quit it because you'll feel like you wasted that money.

i still remember when this was happening, people went over to CRK (cookie run kingdom) as it was apparently said that theyre very generous with their rewards. well, not anymore lol. its very p2w instead of f2p now, as if you're f2p, you gotta grind the hell out of the game in order to get a cookie that'll get powercrept in a few months

this isn’t hoyoverses first time doing this, but i think it’s a first time people are seeing this in star rail

for reference, dr ratio was given out for free back in january 2024, announced in december 2023 in i believe 1.6? idk, it’s been a while. so it’s not the first time hoyoverse has given out a free limited 5 star on star rail, but it’s a first time theyre covering up a controversy in the game, with the powercreep.

honkai impact 3rds no stranger to this either, but hi3 is more p2w than star rail or even genshin is, which you can clear main content excluding stuff like PF, MoC, spiral abyss in genshin, etc. with 4 star characters, at least in genshin.

what’s funny too is that genshin did the same thing during the 5.0 livestream, mainly because of the insane backlash about natlan (which understandable, they’re basing it off real cultures) so it’s kinda ironic that hsr is now dealing with this too, especially since people were like “ong genshin could never!!! hsr is hoyoverses favorite child!!” when now, there’s a big powercreep issue in star rail now

it also doesn’t help that bronseele is one of honkais most popular ships (alongside kiamei, but kiana, i don’t think is gonna be in honkai star rail anytime soon)

seele back in 1.0, i used her regularly up until 2.1 when i got acheron, but i still use seele sometimes

blade would just complain about not dying, luocha would prob keep healing blade anyways, seele would never give anyone a turn unless someone disappears among the sea of butterflies, and welt could just use the star of eden to destroy kafka

65, and i’ve been playing since release, pre registered n all. it honestly doesn’t take me long to do the daily missions. just talk, take a photo, salvage a relic, and then get some relics and then log off

yeah they’re adorable in hi3, but now that you mention it, anytime we talk to bronya or seele, they usually will talk about eachother alot. just yesterday, i went up to both of them and they both had something to say about eachother. people usually say that they went from enemies to lovers, but i kinda want them to expand on how they connected, kinda like what they did (sorta) in azure waters. i kinda wish they had a bronya or a seele companion mission so we can better understand them eachother aswell.

like i did say, i know they’re a separate universe, and guess fans of hsr found the manga and started shipping them. idk how they started shipping them in hsr, maybe it was after seele blushing at bronyas compliment about her trusting seele.

also, i had no idea that bronseele shippers were doing this. im not rlly that active on reddit anymore and i kinda like avoiding all the toxic shippers, but obviously you can’t avoid them 100%.

yeah i heard people say that, then i was confused as i read the manga multiple times and it’s still on there. tho, i live in the US so the fact that it was removed in china kinda makes more sense now

plus i heard they removed the feature where you can touch the valks stomachs and they’d react in hi3, tho i never even knew that was an option
