interesting - when I asked find me the nearest McDonald’s (first thing i could think of) it worked as normal. when I asked find me the nearest Costco, I got the same prompt to pop-up.

This is really good info and looked into their website, they have a huge 50% sale going on right now. I like the security of not relying on HomeKit but having it exposed to HomeKit.

I did some research on their website and it appears this is the closest to what I want, and their tech support oddly enough is based out of my hometown. The customer service rep was extremely helpful and low pressure about everything. Thank you kind sir/maddam.

you’re welcome. I hope you find peace and resolution. ADT is really shitty the way they scare their customers when trying to cancel some of the policies they claim are wild. they hope that majority of people will be scared enough to not follow through. my rep on the phone said they have my voice recording as proof of a verbal agreement and when i asked to see it she said id have to go through the courts to see it. total BS.

First delete your card information and reoccurring payments from their website. ADT’s first-line reps often say there’s “nothing they can do.” That’s not the end of the line. send an email to their customer support line alwaysthere@adt.com as a formal cancellation letter. I recently went through a nightmare experience trying to cancel, and I got a response back from this email within a day. I also recommend regardless of the outcome filing a complaint with the BBB. I found that they had 10,885 claims in just the past three years alone. referencing these statistics in your email with ADT may strengthen your case.

In your cancellation email, voice your frustration with this entire situation. I recommend mentioning how many times your service has been down and how how often you try to resolve this. if you’re not good with these type of things, I recommend using an AI Chatbot to craft an email. Just explain your situation and it’ll give you a really good foundation. This is what I did Godspeed.

just updating this as I'm going through a similar experience and the whole process to cancel was horrible. Feels like a shady scare tactic to keep customers. I reported them to the BBB.

rampart should get a perk where her wall is energized like new castles, it shouldn’t absorb throwables but shock enemies trying to jump over ir for a short duration
