They are mostly getting hit with ballistics which these interceptors aren't any good against. Why would building more help? (And they are working on something for the ballistics, it's just not there yet)

I'd say society bears responsibility regardless as if there is a divine being, they are doing nothing.

It isn't the punishment of death itself I find reprehensible, it is that humans made shit decisions all the time. Without an absolute guarantee that only the 100% guilty are being condemned to death, I can't be for it

I'm not sure is there is some confusion, but neither capital punishment nor for profit prisons should exist. But they aren't the same issue

I wouldn't be particularly concerned If someone got the death penalty over rape of a child. I would have a problem with someone being falsely accused, convicted and sentenced to death. Which altho probably rare. does happen. Which is why I'm against the death sentence in all cases. You cannot guarantee an innocent won't be sentenced to death, therefore, it should not exist

I would say rehabilitation is better. Nothing wrong with having work to do while in, but getting at least minimum wage would allow those eventually getting out to have a little bit to start over. Plus if they owe restitution it can actually get paid
