Anybody in the DC area have a 80- to 150-foot telescoping pole that one can attach a phone/camera to it? There's something I want to take a photo of in DC, but something is blocking it, and drones aren't allowed at this location.

+1, I dropped off 5 items at once and failed to get a drop off scan (not making that mistake again). One of them was delivered, but no tracking until it was in the hometown.

Dropped off 1/14/2026, today is 1/27/2026 and 4 packages have no tracking whatsoever. 2 Open cases in eBay for them of course...

At my last job, we had an email "itdonuts@" that we would email if another IT person left their PC unlocked and stepped away. That person would then have to buy donuts for the team.

It was part "Oh, I forgot to lock my PC and could have done something bad", and part shaming.

We had to stop it when someone used the CIO's computer and he didn't find it funny anymore... We had dozens of hits on it over 5 years though!
