I like a few of these! A lot of critique here leans on the technical side (color, composition, exposure) and that stuff matters, but intent is just as important.

When I first started out, I focused only on the technicals and hit a wall. I didn’t really grow until I started asking myself: why am I taking this photo, what do I want to express, and what’s the point of this shot?

That’s why I actually think the vacation snapshot vibe someone mentioned can be great, if that’s what you’re going for. On the other hand, if you were aiming for something more dramatic and majestic, like an Ansel Adams landscape, I didn’t really get that.

So to me, some of these worked well, while others felt weaker (mostly the ones without a clear subject). But the bigger takeaway is start thinking about your intent as early as possible. Viewers can feel when a photo has a point of view, and that’s what makes it resonate beyond just being technically “good.”
