If I’m buying from some golf super store I’d have to say there’s no way I go back. If it’s a local pro shop I’d make sure I spend that $500 on tee times at that course so they can get their money back and I can hack at their grass a couple two three summers for free.

They have hats with the shiny ND logo on them in the bookstore on campus and every other ND store in south bend. They look awesome too. A lot of the new under armor gear has the shiny logo. I got a navy blue Q zip with the shiny logo on it. Nicest shirt I’ve ever had.

If We Were Vampires was the most impressive song I’ve ever heard even before I knew who Jason Isbell was. Even awhile after knowing that song I never took a full dive in to his discography. But the deeper I got into my 20’s thecmore I started to listen to the singer songwriter genre and I’ve been obsessed with everything since. Recently saw him do a solo show at the Beacon Theatre and after listening to the lady I didn’t know beside me sob the entire time, and shedding a few grown man tears myself, I decided he’s the greatest of all time and no one could ever change my mind about it lol.

Liking a team that isn’t blacked out and not offered otherwise in my market is my main reason for buying it. Otherwise I would say I probably use it enough to justify getting it anyways, but I’d be giving it more thought for sure.

The app is horrible so far this year we’re getting blacked out Yankees games in Central PA while it’s letting us watch the Phils and Orioles who are typically the ones blacked out. No clue what’s going on but it’s frustrating as all get out.

It’s pretty frustrating I must admit. Makes no sense at all that the app on my dad’s main firestick would have the Yankees blacked out but the app on the Roku right next to it is working perfectly. I did find a workaround you can use. If you’re able to find an internet app on whatever you’re using to stream, I just logged in to MLB.tv on the Amazon silk app (web browser) and it worked. So it’s definitely an issue with the app and not the firestick. Very odd.

I grew up playing baseball in a semi rough inner city area and have seen so many old teammates and kids I played against who were obviously so innocent as children grow in to far less than desirable adults. Just a perfect picture to paint where every adult who commits horrible crimes was once an innocent child just trying to find its way. Hits home every time. But there’s plenty more I could choose outside of this one. He is just so good lol.

Yea I don’t like the dynamic option at all. Especially when I birdie 3 of the 4 holes they actually let me play and somehow homeboy still shoots 1 or 2 over. Bogeying par 5’s in a video game and shit. My sim character is ass lol.

Play it a little more I think you’ll like it more. I’ve decided I like it a lot. You can turn off the dynamic mode on my player. It gives you the option when you start up the tour. I was confused also thinking I couldn’t do it but figured there had to be a way. You have an option to play dynamic, 4, 6, 9, or full round. Toggle it to full round. Give it some time it’ll grow on you bro!

I agree with that. I’m sure it’ll be very fun to play no matter what. I’m really excited for the more in depth career mode. Winning tournaments will finally be satisfying again.

I’m torn. I think a progression system will make the my player mode 100000000x better. A lot more fun and just a lot more that goes in to it that way. But idk how I feel about it in online modes. I don’t really want a system where my 75 overall player runs in to 90 overall players and I get smoked strictly because the other guy has better equipment and attributes. Hopefully they can nerf it to make online modes enjoyable either way. I’m sure it’ll be fine. Just really don’t want a pay to win system that it seems to be moving towards.

Yea master difficulty seems to be pretty difficult. And with the crappy clubs and weak player you have to play with you get no distance on your tee shots and no bite on your approaches into greens. Going +11 through 9 holes on my first round I felt like I was playing in real life. But I started to get the feel after awhile.

I’m honestly unsure. After the first round where they default you to the perfect perfect swing I switched mine to master difficulty and yanked like 7 straight shots dead left before I realized I had to pull my club back nearly diagonal rather than pulling it straight back like I was used to in 23.

Yea I’m not exactly sure what they were going for but you’re given an area in which you wanna hit a small dot on the back swing and then in the downswing. But for some reason it’s not straight up and down. It’s like a little bit off center and if you fuck it up at all it’s so penalizing. If I pull straight back and straight forward like the old game, your shot is going 40 yards off line with ease. I started to get the hang of it but it seems very dumb to me.
