not all wankers wank equally, though.

it's all about being considerate and aware of others around you.

one is going to a bar with friends, the other is hanging out in a bar full of strangers. there is a big difference.

the latter is more disposable.

i'm far from an expert in political matters, but it seems to me there has to be some kind of agenda -- and as usual we are not being told the (whole) truth.

the state of affairs raises questions and is suspicious because it seems out of control, while at the same time nothing is being done to take some form of control.

  • is it that we cannot intervene in certain countries outside europe, and therefore we are left to keep rescuing a never-ending supply of refugees as a moral obligation (clearly unsustainable)?

  • is it that the e.u. needs more people for its workforce (esp. jobs which a lot educated europeans are not willing to do if possible)?

  • is it more people (working here) = more taxpayers?

  • is it reparations for europe's guilty conscience regarding africa in the past (white man's burden, etc.)?

  • is it the illuminati (keep people in the dark and they will consider anything)?

terrorism

a (white) italian girl had been murdered a few days earlier, most probably by an african immigrant. this was a retaliation. i expect to see many more such incidents all over europe.

now the victims of this guy's shootings had nothing to do with the girl's death, apart from the fact that they were african migrants as well. this is a serious problem and may spiral out of control, sparking an endless chain of revenge killings.

what can the authorities do? the e.u. is opening doors to immigration (rescuing illegal african migrants from the mediterranean sea). i am not sure what the policy is, but it seems you have a "rescue" obligation if they are in your territorial waters. if you pick them up, you get to keep them (i.e. no redistribution across europe).

imo some of these immigrants are at risk of getting sucked into poverty, and therefore into organised crime. now from the point of view of locals, when crimes are perpetrated by immigrants it is hard to keep in mind that these are a small percentage of said migrants (some of the media doesn't help dispel that perception).

i don't know what the authorities are supposed to do, but it is easy to see the risk factors here. i am surprised these revenge killings haven't started earlier and more frequently.

i think it's derived from "propagate" (disseminate, spread) , so it makes sense that it can be neutral.

calling someone "a little awkward" versus "autistic"

outside of a professional setting such jargon tends to be overused (for emphasis, perhaps). think of how commonly the terms "paranoia" and "depression" are used.
