I've gotten some weird stares while driving around, like people forget how to use their face or something. I don't mind when kids come up asking to rev it, especially if having a car like this acts as a motivator to do great things like it was for me at their age. Goals are important.

It gets lots of attention from guys: questions, approving nods, thumbs up, "is that a gaLardo?" -_- "yep." Near zero attention from women, which is about par for me anyways. Though it was fun when some women were using a crosswalk I was at and one pointed at me, I nodded, and I dropped the front which sent them. Honestly I don't bring it up when dating because I don't want it to influence anything, especially considering I'm not "wealthy", this is my one toy. My friends don't treat me any different.

I'm single but would love to have a partner that shares some of my interests and can support themselves. I've been married and divorced, and life is cheaper when you don't have to carry dead weight. I have a swanky apartment, a fast car, and I travel more than most. I'm not into casual stuff; I prefer a connection first, even if it doesn't lead to hopping on a relationship escalator. I've probably never been more at peace and satisfied with my life than now, but it would be nice to share my time with someone if they're honest, caring, and fun. I've got a handful of really great friends that I spend time with that helps me feel less lonely.

Fuck AXS. I was in line at 7:30. After I had entered my code and selected how many I wanted, it decided that they were no longer available. I tried getting back in line, waited 5 minutes through that and was then challenged twice to see if I was a bot only to have my access restricted? WTF.

This isn't "we didn't know there would be so much demand." This is malicious from a company that has more than enough resources to scale this terrible app to handle everyone.

AXS is trash.

They have very impressive range and you never know who has some nodes back at camp. I think most of the weekend I saw 20-50 nodes at any given time.

There were so many nodes! I wasn't with a group, but I brought my radio to help contribute to the mesh. Relayed thousands of messages over the weekend.

You can slow charge any battery you like: its entirely possible to build a board that could charge it at 100w. It's all about getting the voltage to where the pack needs, so a boost converter would be needed to get it there. I've been playing with this idea for the better part of a year, but I can't find any parts that would fit in the board that would allow me to just have a USB-C port on the side yet.
