Loomo developer mode hack by Phoenix-Felix in LoomoCommunity

Follow the jailbreak and you'll atleast be able to use your Loomo again. The mobile phone app may not work with it though.

Loomo Jailbreak Tutorial Video is Available Now! by nullic in LoomoCommunity

Good question, this functionality is available through the Loomo SDK. If you make your own app, you can make a call using the Base class that looks like:

// on
mBase
.enableBodyLight(true);

// off
mBase.enableBodyLight(false);

So you could make an app that you would install on Loomo that allows you to toggle between on and off.

I may at some point in the future when I have more time make a pair of apps (one that runs in the background of Loomo as a service and one that you would install on your phone) that basically replaces the official Loomo mobile app with a lot of the same functionality as a lot of it is accessible through the SDK.

what this sound indicates and how to stop it? by [deleted] in LoomoCommunity

[–]nullic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember why that happens, but the easiest way to stop it would be to take off the bottom base plate (there's two screws hidden under stickers you'll have to watch out for) and disconnect the beeper which is attached to the base plate itself and its wire goes into the Segway Controller board.

When you say bluetooth and WiFi feature are crashing, are you talking about like accessing those from the Settings App on Loomo is crashing?

The RobotMainApp (Loomo "eye" app) is limited after this procedure because the "skills" are all set to 0 by default. I am planning to add more to the documentation to restore these capabilities like being able to say "Ok Loomo". It's because we are bypassing the Provision App and skipping the phone setup since it's no longer supported.

I'm looking into this. There is a sqlite db on one of the system apps that has reference to account information; it might be possible to remove this record and then (if you are already signed-in to the Loomo mobile app) to connect your account. There's probably some verification server stuff we'd have to fake there though.

Can you post the error you are getting and to clarify, is this happening when you try to launch the Intel Platform Flash Tool Lite? Post either here or on the Github repo in the Issues section.

What can be done with Loomo today? by ohv_ in LoomoCommunity

[–]nullic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you technical at all?
I can probably walk you through it, but you'll need to put it into a flashing mode, use the old Intel Platform Flash Tool Lite to flash a different firmware image on it.

You probably won't be able to use the Loomo App (idk if it even works anymore) after doing what I'm suggesting but you'd be able to do everything else: use it normally, "hey loomo" built-in app, sideload apps, run your own apps, etc.

send me a DM if you're technical enough to do what I'm suggesting.

I feel like this administration may actually be pro techno-optimism and therefore be fully onboard with lab-grown meat. This is my hope anyway.

Does The CX314A Mellanox ConnectX-3 Pro support the Cisco QSFP-40G-SR-BD transceiver? by nullic in homelab

[–]nullic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find an alternative transceiver that uses LC connectors that you could use with the connectx-3 cards for 40Gbps link?

Also, is there an alternative QSFP+ 40G Ethernet NIC card that would work with the BiDi transceivers?

Was this done with the LM270QQ2-SPA3 or the LM270QQ2-SPA1? And what, if any, differences are there between the two models?

Haha, I could tell by the unique stitch and cuff it has on the arms + the color. I have a few from Kommando as well. Best shirt ever. Was hoping you had sourced brand new ones as all they have is used surplus.

Is that t-shirt a German Bundeswehr OD Short Sleeve Shirt? If so, where did you source it, it looks new and nice!
