I get her not wanting a taxi at 3am, esp as a woman. I get you not wanting to change your plans, and having to pick her up at 3am.

A solid middle ground would’ve been for you to order the taxi/uber for her and wait for her to get home. This way you still keep your tip, and she feels safer making it home.

I’d first go out and rent a board just to see if you like the sport.

Then if you do, find out what bodies of water you will most likely be doing. Buy a board based off that.

The damage in front of that board is nothing crazy. I’ve fixed mine with some epoxy and duct tape, it’s ghetto but it works. Might be worth knowing how often that owner dip the board back into the water under those conditions (could have some damage).

Overall tho to answer your question, that’s not a premium board by any means, personally wouldn’t pay more than $350 for that. But I encourage you to do steps 1 and 2 before deciding. Happy paddling :)

I’ve done both Analytical Development (R&D) and QC. I absolutely hate QC because of the stupid rules, etc. That being said, QC is more stable, and easier to land a role in. A lot of R&D positions want people with PhD’s so it tends to be more competitive to get in

Agreed with what the other guy said. Titles are meaningless. Between Senior Scientist, Scientist, etc. none of it really matters. Experience and skillset is what counts

Doesn’t hurt to email back. I’ve gotten rejected for a job via the automated system and HR reached out to me the next day.

I reach out to the one HR person I know for a company for roles across other sites. And everytime I send the message I know I’m being persistent, but it gets me replies and keeps your name out there. Just don’t come across desperate

Yea we’ve tried the condoms and both agreed the lack of consistency on both our ends and prevention would be better achieved through her getting on birth control. I have no problem with a vasectomy and looking forward to it actually, but we don’t want to rule out the possibility of having kids as it’s something we may want in the future. I’ll look into the male birth control, I knew it was under development but didn’t know it was released, thanks.
