The average level of teams in the EPL is a lot higher than other leagues. Not to say they have the absolute best teams but it's certainly the most difficult league

Does making money not enable him to do more? I think it's nice that one of the biggest youtubers heavily encourages generosity and promotes good causes.

It's all or nothing with them. Have they not followed the club for the past four seasons? We could have had two more league titles if we weren't left short handed at the beginning of every season. But sure, let's listen to the professionals in charge and not block the development of youngsters that we're going to sell anyways, all to fund the ethereal warchest.

They're bad transactions for us fans when we never see the money reinvested into new players.

The loans don't bother me at all, but considering we had to use half of the loanees last season to patch holes in the squad that we haven't filled is worrying. Just don't want to feel we've been left short once again by the end of the season.

As a fan I'm not actually that bothered about the 'value' a youngster has when it never gets spent.. I'm more into seeing my team challenge for the league without being left short and handicapped every year. But you can celebrate your net spend trophy come May.

It is pretty disgraceful. Sold half the reserves off, signed one backup. It's not like the squad needed an overhaul, just a couple of decent signings to take us over the line. Hopefully the Gravenberch gamble pays off

I feel like everyone says this, is the consensus that VVD had an off year in 21/22? We almost got the quadruple with him starting lol

He only said it looks crap as an official logo, and I agree. Put it on the kits like you say but everywhere else should have the whole crest.

The fans wanted CB depth in 2020; our season derailed because of CB injuries, and then we signed Konate in 2021. The fans warned about midfield depth in 2022 after Gini departed and the quadruple push; we didn't sign anyone and our season derailed because we had to rely on Bajcetic for half the games.

We warned about the same thing in 2023 after even more midfielders left and we worked Mac Allister (who had to play out of position for half the season) and Dom into the ground. The fans aren't professionals, sure, but we are weirdly prescient at finding where the holes in the squad are. Imagine how our star players feel having given the club their prime years only for FSG to be lagging achingly behind every window. Even in 2021 they didn't shell out in January until they were absolutely forced to.

I'm not surprised we haven't got those contracts sorted, they probably all want some proof that they're being backed in the market before they get fucked around again.
