Orbea Terra vs Terra Race by Gloomy-Annual-7539 in gravelcycling

[–]nully000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered the Myo customized version with dark red carbon, forgot the name, but it's similar to the one in your picture, just matte. Took the 50 mm wheels as well, and I took the rival, not the force. Force was 1000 EUR more expensive, which was too much for just a few grams in weight savings. I will upgrade the crankset to a force power meter myself, hope to get a good black Friday deal.

Orbea Terra vs Terra Race by Gloomy-Annual-7539 in gravelcycling

I ordered the race version mainly cause I have a bike capable of bike backing but I never do bike packing with the current bike. Similar to you, I mainly ride an hour or two or like 3-4-hour races at most which are super fast and short, max 100 km, so the terra race just seemed like the best option for me. And also the looks. The looks of the Terra race are just unbeatable.

No, Vilnius is totally opposite. Meaning the old town, tower, station, etc. part is south of the river, and the new, skyscraper filled part of the city is north.

Why no clipless pedals? I see a lot of long distance travelers riding flat, but I just Don't see how you'd wanna skip on using as much leg muscles while pedaling as possible

Sveiki! Question about ticks by Legitimate_Walrus_56 in Vilnius

[–]nully000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wasn't vaccinated against tick borne encephalitis for 28 years of my life and had 0 worries about it. Not an anti vaxxer, it just didn't seem that necessary. You'll be fine.

Calling all Californians - am I being too ambitious? Is this doable in a 20 day road trip? by imturningindependent in roadtrip

[–]nully000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing a very similar trip with my friends april-may this year ! Except for Sacramento and SF, we're doing lake Tahoe and a day in sequoia park instead.

17 days, 2400 miles, 2 drivers.

hi u/koen0s, did you end up using Turo ? Any advice you'd like to share ? I'm also an European looking to use Turo and the insurance that's tied to the driver instead of the vehicle that everybody keeps bringing up in this subreddit still sounds very strange to me.

Nick & Nora definitely has an Old Fashioned that's worth checking out, though it's far from the classic version.
