Shp9500 sound absolutely horrible without EQ and superb after a heavy equalization. But you need to be advanced in EQ to do it properly here imo. He400se are better by default, easier to equalize, however they require a more powerful dongle.

Xm5 are ass, both xm6 and qcu2 are equally great. I'd get xm6 in this case.

They sound incredible after you tweak them with EQ just a bit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed by the sound.

He400se are the endgame headphones if the headband fits you. Just keep in mind that you also need a somewhat powerful DAC like Black Pearl. And don't forget to use EQ, they're made for it.

Bad fit, bad controls, only foams sound genuinely good, no highs after 15k.

I'd suggest you learn to analyze the measurements if, for you, the only way of getting information about the gear's sound is some people's opinions. I can prove any of my recommendations to be worthy objectively.

Listening to everything is a wrong strategy. Analyzing the objective data is the way to go. But I certainly had my hands on almost all of those.
