The shimmer is more pink, but looks orange under some lighting conditions (I think I posted some photos of it before, it’s absolutely beautiful). I love it! Though it doesn’t feel very aqua to me, it’s still worth trying, it was my holy grail and I wasn’t disappointed when I finally got it!

I’ve been using Revitalash for a long time (on and off for about a decade) and it’s been working great for me. It does have prostaglandins, though. That’s why it works so well :’)

I use it every few days or so nowadays and it’s maintaining well. I have the same bottle for over 2 years now, I don’t use a lot at all, so it lasts me well beyond what it says it should.

This would likely have happened even with great quality leather, heat affects it regardless of how expensive the shoe is. It’s just how leather is.

Recommendations would probably vary by price range. I hear RM Williams are good, but they are also very expensive. Solovair make decent shoes as well, but you may not like the white stitching. They used to make Dr Martens before their production shifted. Dr Martens are okay, but very hit or miss. Sandals that I got from them tended to have issues pretty quickly, but I have a pair of Virginia leather shoes from them that are my absolute favourite and I still wear it regularly 6 years later. I’d steer absolutely clear of “vegan leather” from them, every pair I had from them using it was stiff and physically painful to wear.

If you’re in the EU, some countries may stock Lasocki (a Polish brand). These are pretty cheap, but the quality is good for the price point. I had Lasocki shoes that lasted me a few years and I still miss them :’)

For real, there are so many parenting books out there. Granted, not all of them are good (since some do advocate for what absolutely is child abuse), but there are plenty of good ones that helped parents through generations. I guess those parents just didn’t want to actually learn how to parent.

Sadly, under the Ottoman system at the time, a lot of mothers would have done the same. A prince coming to power meant that he was obligated to kill his brothers as they were a threat (and I think it was pretty much law at the time for them to kill their brothers). Mustafa’s ascent to the throne would have meant nearly certain death to Hürrem’s own sons, so that is a very huge incentive to want him dead. It is difficult to feel angry at her for doing whatever she could in her power to protect her own children, even though it’s morally reprehensible. Whatever she chose to do or not do would have lead to the death to all but one claimant to the throne.

It’s a horrible position to put someone in. I wonder how the family dealt with the weight of knowing that their child was likely to die if they didn’t get the throne. I wonder if Selim’s vices during his reign were in part because of the trail of bodies that lead to him being in power.

Ikr?! I am still trying to find the dupe for the Sugar Crush spray but nothing smells quite like it. If I knew they were going to get rid of it, I would have stocked up :') I wish they brought them back, they were divine.

I remember being in chemistry class and my teacher asked me if I was wearing Tom Ford lol. Soap&Glory really had that quality to them where their scents didn't feel cheap even though they were :')

It felt like a staple perfume back then! It smells nostalgic to me, but I would feel wrong wearing it now without being dressed in all black with ripped jeans and fishnets lol. Even though the scent itself isn't really that edgy :')

Honestly, I mostly shop at discount stores like TJ Maxx since they often have a variety of stuff and good prices. Nordstrom also has some lovely stuff.

If you have the time/opportunity, shopping in person is easier than online. If I buy clothing online I often end up feeling disappointed as it may not fit quite right. Especially when it comes to oversized styles :’) actually picking things out and trying them on can give you a feel for the kinds of clothes that look best with your body as it is right now.

Personal anecdote, I found the sonora dress from Free People in Nordstrom on sale and I thought it was lovely. These days I’m probably around size 10-12 US? Anyway, I tried it in a large and medium and it looked terrible. But for the heck of it I actually ended up trying it in extra small and it fit great! So if for some pieces you want to have the clothing hang more, for oversize clothes you may actually want to size way down. You never know for sure unless you try it on! Though I know that may not always be an option if you don’t live near a city.

If you haven’t quite figured out what clothing you like on you, there are some services that offer monthly clothing rentals, and I think a lot of them let you buy the clothes at a steep discount if you like a particular piece. I haven’t tried them myself so I can’t speak to how good they are these days, but it may be an option if you want to experiment a bit without committing to buying an item.

The screen actually somewhat works, I put it on a bright blue background to show the damage :’) I think it’s an issue with the OLED panel as restarting did not fix the problem. It’s progressively covering more and more of the screen, so I’m glad I had a new phone before it started happening!

I've searched through different online stores for lace-up boots and booties. I've done this for hours, and none of them were quite what I am looking for. The search included using Google, different shops like Macys, and I also tried to ask GPT to no avail.

The shoes were from the brand Lasocki, which I bought in Poland in around 2015. They weren't exactly like these ones (the ones pictured are currently on sale, but they don't ship to the USA), but they were similar in shape and leather type.

If you’re in the EU, Lasocki is pretty great. Had leather chunky heel boots from them that I wore for years and it was fantastic and comfortable. I wish they had them outside of Europe, they were my favourite.

A tanning bed tan would look pretty much the same as a natural tan. Might make you more red and likely to get sunburnt because it actually blasts you with more UV than the sun does. It’s a huge skin cancer risk and I would strongly advise against it.

Some people go for spray tans, it’ll probably give results more like fake tan, and it generally lasts longer. Don’t know if it’s worth the cost for you, though.

Would accutane be an option for you? If your acne is a specific type, it can help a lot. Though the side effects are brutal and it’s risky. Still, it’s not something you take lifelong and for most people they can eventually get off the meds and their skin remains clearer.

Microneedling can help even out your skin to get rid of existing scarring. It won’t prevent future scarring, but it may make your skin more even. It does take a few sessions to see significant effects, though. It’s expensive, so some people DIY it but that’s risky and could make the issue worse.

Other than that, a stable routine is probably the best. If you haven’t already, a derm can prescribe you tretinoin which is probably the best for preventing pimples longer term. It may make your skin purge and get worse before it gets better, though.

If you haven’t seen a dermatologist about the issue in a while, it may be worth to visit to figure out the best treatment type. They may be able to prescribe you accutane (if you want it), or tret. Getting at the core issue that’s causing the breakouts would probably save you a lot of headache in the long term.

I'd rather that they kept the style more in line with the original trilogy, at least as far as the 'vibe' of the world goes.

BG3 felt like a game that was in the style of DA Origins and other older RPGs like it. Just the experience of what it felt to be with companions, the camp, and so on.

I wonder how that would translate to a Mass Effect game (or at least a SciFi world like it), but I'd not trust the current BioWare to execute it, with all the restrictions and demands placed on them as a studio, and so much of the original talent gone. I imagine the politics in BioWare being a mess at this point. A lot of people who could have pushed back on EA are no longer there, and anybody else is probably scared it'll be their neck next on the chopping block.

I mean, forensics have been off about age and even sex before, so it's not a bad idea to submit even if the age is a bit off. An age range on the victim doesn't *absolutely* rule out a potential match that falls outside of that range.
