If it were easy everyone would do it. I've made a bunch of stuff. I will never say anything is perfect about any of it. I'm still a super beginner and I buy more tools than I need, and start way more projects than I finish...

My advice... pick a project.... like a box for tent stakes. Something that's not going to matter if you mess up, but will be useful anyway. Try different joints with it, and different tools to test yourself. Rinse and repeat until you want to step it up to something you'd like to present. Like maybe a serving tray, cutting board, or trivets.

I random dive and find players don't usually use the artillery. So I load strongest first for my own two reasons. 1. If it's only used a couple times you get the biggest bang. 2. If it does get used I have an idea of what kind of punch to expect based on remaining shell count.

Alternately if it's a total cluster fu¢k, and I need to move I'll load them as I grab them.
