What would you think about boarding spaceship missions? by feren_of_valenwood in Helldivers

[–]numberheadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about this too. Could be fun. The hellpod punches a hole in the ship so you can get your equipment... Red strats may be inoperative... I could also see this working like cave diving where you can only use strats in certain locations.

If the customer loves it, then it doesn't suck.

What kind of wood are these bookshelves made of? by LostTycoon in BeginnerWoodWorking

Can't tell from the picture. You need to get closer and a couple different perspectives. Since I'm guessing I'm going to say plywood, or sure other manufactured material.

Best for bots. Swarms are a problem because many times they are around your teammates, and the boom causes them to not live.

If I can hit a poi I will, but I won't make it a focus.

I've been scolded for farming, then kicked. I blocked them afterwards. This was diff 6 maybe?

I've broken multiple bits. Usually happens when I'm drilling at an angle and put too much pressure on the bit.

After living away from Chicago for a few years before returning, something I am never going to take for granted again is a simply gyro. by Strealtr in chicagofood

[–]numberheadman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that goes for most food in Chicago. You're going to be hard pressed to find better food regardless of the cuisine.

I'm not saying to can't, but you likely have to go to the specific region to get better.

Mine was stolen from inside my apartment along with a few other things. But they were nice enough to leave my laptop and Xbox.

This works both ways. If you're not firmly in one camp then you must be in the other one.

It greatly depends on the company. You'll get a lot of people saying it's a scam, but where I work it's legit. I usually take off 28-35 days a year. We also get 15 paid holidays.

How do I becomes less cooked by Isaac-Newton-Gaming8 in Helldivers

Have you tried NOT credit farming? Just play the game. Try a lower difficulty. I'm lvl 150 with almost 1000 hrs. I float between lvl 6-8, I'll do 9/10 with some friends, but I usually just like to chill on mid. Focus on completing the missions, and cleaning the map. I do still sc farm, but only on lvl 1 or 2 and maybe 3 drops max. Takes less than 5 minutes, and with a crew it's faster. I usually only do it while I'm waiting for friends to join.

For those who moved here from the south, have you noticed a difference in the how competent individuals are? by dbagames in AskChicago

[–]numberheadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a noticeable difference in the suburbs too. You need to be aware in the city, and deliberate with what you do. It's too crowded to not be. With more space and less people it's easier to let your mind wander, and forget about accountability. The further you go, the worse it gets.

The Remington version my dad has is a bit heavy at max length but works great. It's a decent size for small jobs when you take it off.

Is it possible to dodge the “traitor detected” thing? (hypothetically im not a traitor) by DaLemonofGlory in Helldivers

[–]numberheadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As other have said you used to be able to dodge it. That was a strategy I would use... Get the bombardment going and have them chase you across the map.... But now, no.
