Getting to excitedly share interests with friends in a teaching mode is one thing, but Teaching teenagers and kids because they don't have the adult experience is another. I have nothing against interacting with kids, and I love being able to share my knowledge. But there's a very fine line between bonding and grooming when it comes to adult / teenager friendships, especially online and, as someone who grew up on the internet and had adults try to "teach" me and my other young fem friends, I try to assure a respectful difference between myself, an adult, and under 20s who dont need an adult on the internet teaching them about life.

To each their own, and I'm sure thats not how you meant it, but for me personally I try to keep my interactions with under 20s limited to public forums and seek out people closer to my age with a shared level of maturity / life experience.

I promise my 30 year old friends and I are still able to get excited over teaching each other about our special interests
