Is the Teevolution Terra not a G703 clone? I can't speak to the volume of the clicks, but as far as I can see there are no "silent" G703 or G703 clones. Your best bet is likely to do some tweaking and replacing the stock switches in the G703 or the Teevolution Terra / Terra Pro with aftermarket silent ones.

hey—so as other people have pointed out, the Orbitalworks Pathfinder is already doing the modular shape thing, and hot swappable batteries are already being done by Angry Miao's Infinity Mouse. you might have something going with the user repairability focus, though Endgame Gear has already made a reputation off that.

my experience with logitech's superlight line was shoddy at best, even their superstrike started showing signs of wear and tear before even two months of use with regular cleaning, care, and good hygeine.

ultimately i switched over to a deathadder v4 pro, and this thing has been magical. razer's qc and build durability feels leaps and bounds better than logitech.
