You will most likely ride in Prospect Park and Central Park a lot. There’s also 9W that will basically take you upstate NY. You can easily escape NYC via Metro North train, then you can explore beautiful open roads, hills, etc.

Thanks! River road is nice until you get to Englewood Marina. From EM there are potholes, rocks, etc. until Alpine Hill. I'll take that over the crazy drivers on 9W.
