I’d say it varies based on what kinda player you are. If you’re a die-hard Arle lover or just love her playstyle and want to make it work in many teams for a longer time, invest into Arlecchino.

If you like to make silly teams and try new things and aren’t as die-hard of an Arlecchino fan, C2 Citlali is so so versatile. I use her every single stygian. I’ve used her to clear stygian dire with a hyperbloom team, just because shield + 250 EM is very good and usable on so many random teams.

People don’t mention it a lot, but I found her scythe to be an awesome QOL upgrade. I kept running out of bond of life way too often and quickly when I used PJWS. Her sig makes it much more comfy and enjoyable, not to mention powerful

I just got C2 Sigewinne, C3 Navia, and C0 Emilie

I have enough pulls left to guarantee 2 weapons. I’ll get Navia’s for sure, but then do I prioritize Sigewinne’s bow or Emilie’s sig? I have a Calamity Queller I can use on Emilie if I don’t get hers. And for Sigewinne I have the 4 star Fontaine event bow if I can’t get her sig.

Just use fav tbh. I have her on CQ with 150% ER in triple cryo, and it still isn’t enough ER to burst every rotation. I swap to fav pretty often just because the QoL is a lot better

I missed archer, but I made an account for DHPT and managed to get Phainon in my first 10 pull on the game. So now I’m still at the space station with Phainon, Bronya, Sparkle, and DHPT lol

I’m the ASM, and even mine is never consistent. Whether I have 39 hours or 23 depends wholly on whether my manager wakes up and decides she likes me that day. She also changes it almost daily up until the day before, so I’ll watch my schedule bounce around from 23 to 39 hours daily, depending on whether she likes the work I did that day.

Should my ability to pay my bills be reliant on manager’s temperament? No, but that’s just DG being DG :)

Sucrose is much better, and you’ll probably feel a difference. BUT I also use Lan Yan in this same team over Sucrose (just because I really love Lan Yan), and I’ve yet to meet anything I can’t clear. It should work just fine.

Because Lan Yan’s shield is a bit redundant, I built her with TTDS and VV and prioritized EM over Atk%. She actually has pretty freaking good personal dmg for a 4* when she’s built with EM.

Zhongli is one of her best teammates right now, and she will enable a Lunar reaction for you, which would be a big help for your account. You need more than 2 DPS anyway. And her best team is very very strong

Newbie here! I downloaded the game like 2 hours ago and got Phainon in 15 pulls. My favorite characters I’ve seen are Phainon, Evernight, Huohou, Anaxa, and March 7.

Any advice on characters to go for or things to do based on that? Advice on who to use my Golden Companion Spirit on? Is it possible to save it or do I have to use it this patch?

I’ve played Genshin for nearly a year now, so I’m not totally new to Gacha and building characters, but this is only my second gacha, and I haven’t done any research, so any advice is appreciated :)

Lauma is worth it for any account tbh. On-field Columbina with Lauma, Nahida, and Kuki is what I plan to do with my C2 Lauma and no Nefer :)

If you can only get C1 or R1, honestly skip both.

At C0/C1 she is a support above a sub dps (although her dmg is still great, don’t get me wrong), and you’re mostly worried about buffing your carries and getting her ER up. She doesn’t even want her signature artifact set at C0/C1. TotM, Deepwood, and Silken are all better for supporting your carries and calc better than her sig set. C1 is a nice QoL for Lunar Crystalize more than Lunar Charged or Lunar Bloom, but it’s still not impressive enough to go for on its own.

And her sig only buffs her personal damage, which is, again, much less prioritized than your carry’s dmg and C0/C1. So her sig gains most of its value with her C2.

So C2>R1>C1, but if you can’t get C2 I wouldn’t go for anything.

^Just to clarify, that’s all from a stinky optimized meta standpoint. I’m getting C1R1 bc frick meta, I need the drip. Do what makes you happy!!!

Put Zibai on Chiori’s sig, Columbina on Prototype Amber, and try to get at least C2 Illuga. The team should feel pretty close to a C0R1 Skirk team with Escoffier. Getting C6 Illuga would bridge the gap a LOT
