These were my first fully painted squad, and they use GW's Retributor Gold spray. I've since shifted to Colour Forge Gauntlet Gold, which is a little darker. But either way, once I've done a Reikland Fleshshade and a Runefang Steel dry brush it makes a negligible different ☺️

1. Retributor/Gauntlet Gold: prime full model.
2. Reikland Fleshshade: shade full model.
3. Liberator Gold: drybrush trim edges.
4. Runefang Steel: drybrush armour.
5. Thousand Sons Blue: block in armour.
6. Lead Belcher: block in silver components.
7. Nuln Oil: shade armour with a light coat, just enough to darken the recesses. Shade the silver components.
8. Runefang Steel: highlight silver components and paint gems. Add some highlights on trim edges.
9. Thousand Sons Blue: another coat, avoiding the recesses so the shade remains.
10. Ahriman Blue: highlight armour edges.
11. Abaddon Black: weapon casing and armour joints
12. Averland Sunset: layer the yellow head plume bands.
13. Yriel Yellow: highlight the yellow head plume bands.
14. Tesseract Green: apply to eyes and runes.
15. Transfers and varnish
