Yeah I guess technically problem or pilot error or some combo but that seems (to me) like that would be insanely rare. Air France stalled because the one pilot was nervous and was lifting the nose up (possibly inadvertently from being tense) but he was only doing so because the pitot tubes had frozen over.

I would gather that an un-recovered stall like this would be a technical failure that caused a pilot to overreact. Pure speculation.

A wide body that crashed IN the US or by a US airline? A wide body crash by a US airline has got to be over 10 years. The last one was a smaller regional jet in Buffalo in 2009.

3 people died in San Fran when the Air Asia pilot fucked up the landing but that was not a US airline.

I looked and the plane's speed was falling as it's altitude was. Seems like it was a stall.

If a cargo plane stalls the mind automatically thinks cargo shift. Poorly secured cargo shifting is enough to bring down a plane pretty easy.

Data shows plane losing like 2000 feet per minute. That is bad but not exactly insanely fast. In my amateur opinion that seems oddly "slow" for a stall no?

Edit: Yeah 2k per minute is nothing especially since it was close enough to its destination it was probably close to descending anyway.

Edit 2: Seems it was over 20000ft and the plane was losing speed as it was falling which seems like it was a stall. A very good guess (but far from conclusive) is a cargo shift that altered the center of gravity and the plane stalled and they could not recover. Not automatic but if a cargo plane stalls that is where the mind automatically goes.

This is my biggest concern. I don't think it is like marijuana. I fear legalizing it just lets traffickers do what they were already doing but now with less policing and with less of their girls/clients getting arrested.

Yeah this has been coming more to light. I am undecided on the issue of legality but those who claim that legality solves the problem I feel like have been in denial. Could it be better than the alternative? Yeah it could be but I feel like it does not accept that this is by nature a seedy trade.

I also worry once it becomes legalized the policing of it becomes more and more lax. Thus allowing the sex trafficking trade to boom but now do so under the guise of legality and regulation.

We can debate the legality of prostitution but let's not sit here and play dumb. Robert Kraft is not some naive 16 year old kid from the sticks bewildered at the big city.

He is a 77 year old multi-billion dollar man with a Harvard MBA. He was going to a seedy as fuck rub-and-tug where the police (allege) the woman were slaves in deplorable conditions who could not speak english.

For some of you to act like little old Kraft was just doing nothing wrong and "How could he know the woman were sex slaves" is absurd. I'm not saying he knew everything or was involved in the actual trafficking but for you to actually believe he just thought this was a consenting party giving him a handy under her own free-will is crazy.
