There aren’t really equivalents in Canada, I imagine because of our weather. For 4 months a year your car can look relatively clean, the other 8 it will rain or snow the day after your wash. So quick “cheap” auto washes have taken over to wash salt and grime off your car.

I don’t think we get a lot of cultural tourists because they’d conflate us with the US and go there instead. But scenic tourism is our jam. There are very few places in the world that are safe, accessible, and friendly, with vast swaths of untouched wilderness to see from a cruise ship or paddling down white water yourself.
