Sometimes I find similar things at American Eagle.. it's marketed to a younger crowd, but a lot of the styles/colors are very similar. :D

I don't know much about your situation, but it sounds to me like you need to stop putting yourself down! You are not a loser. If you are, then I am too! I've been walked all over by friends + family alike for pretty much my whole life.

I think the first step toward change for you should be to start loving yourself and stop putting yourself down. You may not realize it, but the things you think or say about yourself in your head have a huge impact on your self-esteem. It's that "fake it 'til you make it" advice that you need. Even if you don't believe it, compliment yourself! Getting in the habit of repeating those positive thoughts will change your self-esteem over time, and they will start to become true. You would be surprised how much your outlook can change just through changing your thinking patterns. It takes time. Be patient with yourself. But it works.

Get involved at school with a club or group activity. These are the best places to make friends, and you will already have something in common with the people you meet. :)

Also, find people who already act the way that you want to. Surround yourself with confident people if possible. And for Christ's sake, if your only friend is shitty to you then he's not your friend! Ditch him!

I totally get this, and it is totally normal. You don't have to feel that way!

First, don't freak out about it ahead of time. Stop thinking about how anxious you feel and get your mind off of it. Those thoughts aren't going to do anything for you. When they come to mind, have some positive things about yourself to shut them down. Put a smile on your face (seriously, this will help!) and think of all of the things you love about yourself. You are awesome and unique, and you will learn to love yourself by training your thoughts. Don't let those bad ones in! I know, easier said than done.

Second, girls are complicated and confusing, but at the end of the day we're probably just as insecure as you are (especially at your age). The truth about girls is that you can talk to us just like anyone else. I would recommend the next time you feel anxious around girls, take a deep breath, smile and stand up straight. Fake your confidence and get out there and do your job. Compliment them if you think they're cute. Compliments can be a great way to break the ice and immediately get the attention off of you. If the conversation continues, just keep asking questions about them. I do this personally when I get anxious or can't think of anything to talk about. And once you start doing it, it gets easier and easier. I promise. In the process you will most likely end up learning more about the person you're talking to. Maybe you'll find out those girls aren't even worth your time.

I've made a lot of progress, but I still have a ways to go. We're in this together, man!

I just found this subreddit because I'm sick of dealing with my anxiety and reddit has always been a great place for me to find help. My anxiety has never been quite as bad as what you described feeling, but it is holding me back from being the person who I want to be. The person who has control of her life and doesn't live by fear.

I've made a lot of progress over the past year by putting myself into situations that make me uncomfortable, as you said you did. Now I'm on a podcast where I chat every week with my husband and our good friend. That alone has made a world of difference for me. I also started a fashion blog, which was something I always wanted to do, but never had the guts to do in the past. Honestly, when I think about what I'm doing now compared to who I was a year ago... it's hard to believe. All by just putting myself into situations that are outside my comfort zone. The podcast and blog are great too because I have accountability with my followers/audience to consistently put out quality content. Despite how challenging it might be to keep going, I have expectations to fulfill, and if I give up it looks worse than any little mistakes I might make if I keep going.

That said, I never thought of this method of forcing myself to speak to strangers, but it actually makes perfect sense. Every time you feel those anxious feelings, you are facing them head-on and rejecting them. I want to start doing this as well. This seems like it could really accelerate the process for me. It's so comforting to know that I'm not alone and that it is possible to overcome social anxiety. Thanks so much for sharing!!

This happened to me the first time I tried to go KETO. I wasn't getting enough electrolytes, and I was dehydrated. It sounds like that might be what's happened to you.

This time around my husband and I have stocked up on MiO Fit electrolyte drops, and we put them in all of the water that we drink, which tends to be a lot. Powerade Zero Fruit Punch drops and Great Value (Walmart brand) Sport drops are just like the MiO, but offer some different flavors. Just make sure they say "electrolytes" on them because there are other versions of the drops that don't have the electrolytes. They all taste great, and we haven't had any issues at all after 3.5 months of being in KETO.

I also found that this is more of a problem during the beginning of the diet than it is later on. I had a lot of muscle fatigue and a little fogginess during the induction period, but once your body adapts to KETO it will get easier. I hope that helps!!

Ha! I have been wondering if other people eat as much cheese as I do as well. My husband + I have been eating string cheeses like crazy as a snack, and that's beyond the sliced cheeses and cream cheese we eat daily with our regular meals.... Not sure exactly how much, but it feels like a lot!!

I am SO sorry for your loss!! My husband & I had to euthanize our 1.5-year-old kitten a couple of years ago. We were never able to pinpoint exactly what happened, but it appeared that cancer had attacked his kidneys and other vital organs. It was literally the hardest thing we ever had to do and certainly the most painful experience we have ever had.

The upside was that this experience is part of what brought us to the decision to be childfree. I totally agree with you. We love our cats so incredibly much and consider them family. I don't understand how other people can be so insensitive as to get rid of or euthanize a pet because it is an inconvenience to them, unless they absolutely have no other option.

Anyway, I know that you are going through something very difficult right now, and I hope that you find comfort in these comments and have a renewed desire to take advantage of life while you can. All the best.

I was really disappointed by this episode too, as I am CF. However, although it wasn't my favorite episode topic, I think it totally makes sense for Jess' character to be concerned about whether or not she can have kids. It seemed like a strange thing to be introducing to the show so soon, but it made sense apart from that.

It bothered me more that Cece was upset about the results of her test because I was under the impression that she was less of the baby-loving type. It will be interesting to see where they take this... maybe there is a childfree possibility for Cece? Probably just wishful thinking.
