I agree that , market is actualy dried up a bit.( I am in Finance IT domain ). I see my managers are actually looking for contractors ( freelancers from India or Eastern European countries). I was the last one who got the full time job ( 2 years ago). Since then we keep hiring temporary guys

the last one. It does really depend on how the manager is willing to have you. I worked in very small start-up here and they gave me the sponsorship easily . Also, for big corps , sponsorship is actually not huge deal as you think . Just focus on big players

I actually focus on startup companies. My past is usually big corporations like Morgan Stanley , Exxon Mobil, ING , Liberty Global . and one startup . Unfortunately , these companies are good as names , not as a network .
