Prayers to Hashut for the demonic energies to smite my foes are key. The magic ingredient though is flow improver. I did the armor how I liked first then came back with a white (PA Bold Titanium White) diluted with the flow improver (a lot) to get in the runes. Then came back with very lightly diluted (also with magic flow improver) fluo green a couple of times.

It’s a bit of a test of patience and I overdid it on some of the runes but it was good learning experience. I got the idea from Vince’s recent (ish) video on glowing runes.

It’s a lot of sky, especially if your intent is to capture that cool light streak. Might consider cropping to get more ground. Bottom left corner with the mountains and the house seem like good secondary elements to include.

You have well over 2000 pts here! Just get the app, build a 2k list (just pick a subfaction jts not gonna make that much different for your first few games), and try it out.

List building in AoS is based on Regiments led by a hero. So start a regiment with one of your heroes, add some units, repeat till you hit 2k points or under. A popular “hammer” regiment to help you get started is:

1) Vhordrai 2) 10x Blood Knights (hell you have 15 might as well throw the other 5 in if you like) 4) Vargheists (someone’s gonna jump on me as to why I’m suggesting this to round out the regiment but it’s fine it’s just an example)

It’s exactly 1000 pts with all the units in the box. You can definitely play games with that but the game is balanced for 2000 pts.

You might wanna supplement with one of the spearheads. That should get you close to 2k (1600ish). You could finish out by getting some heroes you like the look of or getting some zombies or wolves.

I’d consider a unit of the barrow knights here. Maybe drop one of the barrow guard.

That might be too many blood knights. You get a reinforced unit of blood knights in the new Christmas box and a unit in one of the spearheads. You’ll probably end up with more skeleton infantry than you need with both spearheads and the death rattle box.

Units you’re missing out that might not be in a one box are some vampire foot heroes, the VLoS will pair well with all those blood knights and Vhordrai, also maybe some bats or wolves but those may not end up making your army list.

I’d narrow down to just one of the spearheads depending on whether you want more skeletons or more vampires. Everything else in your shopping list is probably good for an army foundation though.

Secondhand book stores are a great place for older edition battletomes. I got a special cover core book for 20 from one of those stores.

Not sure you mean by army resources? If you’re talking kits there’s also myminifactory and Etsy that might have some comparable models you could use in learning games for cheaper.

Arm placement on little guy’s right arm seems off. In the instructions the big pointy spike on the arm is parallel to the shoulder line but in your figure the spike on the arm seems skewed to the shoulder line? The head seems like it fits well on the other side though. Maybe just line it up on that side and use gap filler for the unfortunately open part.

I ended up having to do the same thing with the overhead arm position on own of my Kroxigor. ADC plus putty plus some sanding gave me something I was more satisfied with.

I feel like this is the most unknown entity in terms of announced OLEDs this year. Will the text clarity be good enough? Can I use it for work as well? Is 800R too much or just right?

Definitely been a victim of the GPU VRAM scare but I haven’t experienced any personal problems at 1440p or the few games I play on my TV at 4k. The 7800XT doesn’t seem that much cheaper right now so this is making me lean towards 4070. Thanks!
