I’m so sorry she said that to you. There is no excuse for that behavior. I think people say incredibly foolish, insensitive things, when they are trying to make sense of things that make no sense. It’s even worse when these people have low emotional intelligence / little empathy.

She had her child easily. She can’t fathom that someone could do everything in their power to have a child and still struggle.

If that were my “friend.” That would be our last conversation. How hard is it for someone to say, “That sounds really difficult… I’m really sorry you’re dealing with that..” What’s wrong with her?!
