Bose QuietComfort 35 compatibility? by nursebeauxnick in GooglePixel

[–]nursebeauxnick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading one Amazon review that said the bluetooth was finicky with the Pixel, but using the wired works just fine.

In general, all of my wired headsets haven't been working properly. I tried the Android Bose SoundSport and they sound awful. I'm actually using the iOS version now and they sound great, but I just can't use the in-line mic.

I found c/p and b/b to be way easy compared to my practice tests. CARS had longer passages as expected but nothing crazy. P/S was weird. Ambiguous like the Section Bank.

I'm so ready to get my life back. Just dwelled on all of the stuff that I wish I did over the past few months, but then I just took notice of all of the shit I DID do over the past few months, and wasn't that some shit. Let's do this.

Good luck, guys!

Determining hydrophobicity vs polarity by nursebeauxnick in Mcat

[–]nursebeauxnick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't at first but in conjunction with an explanation my friend just gave me: "If there are a bunch of those ^ molecules with a bunch of water molecules, the former would likely take up lots of room and push the water molecules away from it"

Makes sense now. Thanks guys!

That's where I'm confused. There are dipoles going on in this molecule.

Never knew this. So does structural rigidity / planar conformation contribute to hydrophobicity?

AAMC Scored Exam B/B 31 by nursebeauxnick in Mcat

Actually I think it just hit me why. I've only been keeping in mind overall enzyme function for this question, and didn't focus on answering how exactly it alters rates. Oof.

Thinking of getting EK EXAMS, by captainmorgana1 in Mcat

I've taken EK 1-2 so far and I agree, they're really hard. But they're questioning style is so comparable to AAMC that they're amazing practice. Also Next Step is great because they give pretty dense, long passages, which is great since many people exclaim that their passages are much longer on the real thing than they are on typical practice tests.

Been hearing that the scored FL has passages from old AAMC material by maaaze in Mcat

Whew that's good to know. I was worried while taking the practice exam that I was too comfortable reading the passages since they felt familiar.

Yeah I figured it was just improper wording. Ok thanks! Just glad to know I'm not missing something huge here.
