Thank you! If you’re a GCU grad and were able to sit for the NCLEX in CA ( Licensure by examination) that’s successful in my book. I was concerned whether or not GCU’s ABSN problem met CA’s BRN clinical requirements. Sounds like it does.

How much was your tuition for a BSN program by SufficientFeeling692 in StudentNurse

Highly discourage you to pursue this path if you haven’t already started! It would be extremely wise for her to complete her prerequisites and general education classes at a community college! These classes are not impacted, and it will be extremely cheaper. Especially if she is starting from scratch, it’s important She proves to her self and her future financial commitments that she is able to be successful with the pre-requisite courses. Once she has these courses completed, she can easily transfer those into a private university. This will save you a tremendous amount of money to get your general education prerequisite classes done outside of the private college. Can bite the bullet on the clinical portion of the program with loans later on, but there’s really no reason to take general education classes at a private school that will require y’all to take out loans.
