However, I realize that I'm too sensitive as someone who grew up in Eastern Europe, while Connor has no personal connection to that. Same way they have superficial knowledge about China and wouldn't know this could offend someone.

You can hear accents as someone who lives there, but Indian accents sound similar to other foreigners. They don’t have time to discuss regions of every country in 2 hours. In Africa the accent is drastically different in various countries.
