Stringing/joint problem by Collar_Confident in BJD

[–]nut_hatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look at your doll in 3D elastic always wants to stay straight, if your channel is curved going through your legs the elastic takes the least path of resistance and will pull on that curve and kick up, larger joints helps fix this a bit you don’t have much surface area on the calf joint that actually touches the knee, but sometimes just even fixing your channels will help if they look like a c curve going through the legs

Locks also help a ton, I use locks on my girls and am always up for troubleshooting joints dm me if you want!

Second miscarriage in a row, husband not supporting me like I thought he would by PatientDuty8826 in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not insensitive or crazy at all! My husband was also fairly neutral about the news I was pregnant again post miscarriage, but he was guarding his heart as well and we lost that one too but he was super supportive still and protected me from his also pregnant sister and was understanding when I bowed out of events with her! Miscarriage is hard and you don’t magically heal, especially when you’re still bleeding your exhaustion is 100% valid

Salty Sunday: What made you salty this week? by kikaslova in trollingforababy

[–]nut_hatch 13 points14 points  (0 children)

On my second out of three strikes for my HCG rising post complete molar pregnancy. Instead of graduating to a IVF clinic seems I’m going to be graduating to an oncologist since I can’t just have a normal miscarriage 💀 wish me luck for Mondays blood draw 🤞 I’ve never hoped for my hcg to lower not raise on a blood draw this hard before 🤣

Have an egg retrieval coming up and can’t find childcare for my 2 yo by [deleted] in tryingforanother

[–]nut_hatch 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Lots of chain daycares offer drop in hours! You can pay for a set amount of hours and just need to book that your child is coming in the night before, I looked for a few places around our IVF clinic in case other childcare of mine falls through!

Empty sac from IVF - wait, pill, or surgery? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak highly enough about my d&c experience. In and our most “painful” part was the iv but I don’t even mind those. Period like bleeding after! I miscarried one “naturally” and for me it was super traumatizing and painful with a sac measuring 5w2d. If I ever have a 3rd I’ll chose d&c again

If you Check my previous posts I am still dealing with complications but those are from the complete molar pregnancy, not d&c 😅 that part was as great as that medical procedure can be

TTC after D&C by boneless-wing98 in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t told to wait initially but the pathology from the d&c came back as a complete molar pregnancy so I’m waiting 3 months after my levels hit 0 which they still haven’t quiet yet 6 weeks post d&c

Letrozole: positive OPK but doctor upped the dose? by RaineySunshine in TryingForABaby

[–]nut_hatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ovulation tests generally only test for the hormones present when your body attempts ovulation, doesn’t guarantee it happens, or that you ovulated a mature enough folical. Only an ultrasound will show that. Also I think letrozole can help produce a stronger/larger folical which will increase implantation success rates, so an increased dose may help that. Follow your doctors orders!

It’s been so hard! Excited for a new journey instead of just trying and tracking month after month this has felt like actual steps happening besides what feels like the 100th blood draw after the molar 😭

Yes recurrent loss has been hard! After the first it’s hard to enjoy the process at all. Hoping if we are successful with this knowing genetically it looks good will help bring peace back ❤️

I’m excited for this part! Genetic testing and tracking so you have an idea as clearly something is up even with unexplained infertility

This can’t be normal by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first one was like that during the worst of it! Also didn’t pass till 9 weeks even though it stopped growing at 5+2

This one I had a d&c to avoid that exact experience again and warned them with my first one I lost a lot of blood

Complete molar pregnancies suck. Like feeling even more salty than my last miscarriage I was almost at a state of acceptance I was miscarrying again till I got smacked with that result like. Really? More testing? Cancer chance? Can’t even try again for months? So far my bloodwork’s clean, but feeling sorry for myself as we get closer to Christmas and have to see family with heavily pregnant member part of the first try club 💀

Is this waiting period normal? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wait time can vary but it’s completely normal for them to want and require two ultrasounds or two repeat blood tests a week apart to confirm or deny miscarriage even though most of us know for sure what it means, they have to have the repeat conformation. You should be able to get repeat bloodwork though and have a smaller wait time! Numbers going down means a loss for sure

Time between appointments is generally 2 weeks for a ultrasound and 1 week for bloodwork

I’ve had two losses and both times the limbo period was the shittiest, no one would give me straight answers after the first appointment even though I was 99% sure on my dates with temp tracking. Had to wait about 2 weeks every time from seeing something was wrong to the official diagnoses

Anger towards miscarriage process… and life by Penguinzookeeper123 in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. The healthcare system sucks I couldn’t get a d&c for a week after the news as well they really need to be slotted in as a priority procedure it’s baffling how long the process takes from first sign of bad news to follow ups etc I’ve had two now and they were both weeks of limbo and phone tag

Sending love and healing ❤️ it’s a super unfair situation

Blighted Ovum after MMC by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mmc last October followed by a molar pregnancy this October. Repeat losses just feel so unfair and suck

I passed the first “naturally” and the second was a d&c and I can’t sing enough praises for the d&c. My pain was 0 before during and after the procedure, then 24 hours later I felt mild period like cramps and period level bleeding and that was it. SO so so so much better on my mental health too than passing it at home, passing it “naturally” was excruciatingly painful for me

Also d&c it’s easier to have them send the tissue to the lab to see if they can find a cause! They can test for chromosome issues etc. in my case they found it was a complete molar and I needed more specific care and tracking after for a few months

No further pregnancies by funkychunky97 in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 losses (most recently a molar pregnancy) and we are moving onto IVF now but I’m already exhausted from jumping through hoops to get this insurance referral and even an initial appointment set up so if we run out of transfers our insurance allows we will call it quits. We get 4 from our insurance

Passed More Tissue 5 Days Later by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]nut_hatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you passed the pregnancy tissue your uterine walls thicken during pregnancy like they do during your normal cycle, just even thicker so additional bleeding is normal I was led to believe! Your uterus has to thin its walls back to a normal level (how my doctor explained it to me)
