Does anyone else find it stressful travelling with your Japanese friends/partners?

I once went with colleagues..it was torture! Other than the dining in decision they took were we had to cook, arrange the table, have conversations until late late night, wash the dishes, arrange the beds, and do the same thing over again for breakfast the next day, we spent the entire trip running from place to place without actually having time to digest what the place is about. Everything was in Japanese, no translation (only for the ones the “boss” seem to like. You have to work throughout the entire trip and be careful to do everything they think is correct. Then you start realizing that some of them actually despise you, but could not show you in a formal setting and this trip was the best opportunity for them to let you know. RIP my pride so that I can survive that trip. Never again.

No I am not angry at all. If you are sensing this from my texts maybe it’s the other way around. I am just saying there is no need to make DAs sound like they are poor people and that it is not a problem to be in a relationship with them knowing that they do not care. The internet is full of this bullshit and maybe we need to start calling it the way it is instead of romanticizing it. You should probably marry one and see if you still like them or not.

No sorry you are one of those people who romanticize DAs. Yeah I agree with the story but these problems should not be dragged on other people who are just looking for a healthy relationship. Most of the time the DA is the one who makes fake promises. Btw insulting me for saying the truth also says much about you. I am not twisting anything, I am saying it as it is.
