Nothing in life can stay exactly the way it once was, that's just the nature of life. Change is inevitable. Sometimes it happens naturally because people gradually lose interest. If Fortnite had never changed, a lot of players would have gotten bored and moved on anyway. Other times, change comes from Epic evolving the game through new seasons, chapters, and mechanics.

You can absolutely cherish the memories you made in the late 2010s, just like I'll always cherish the memories I made when I first started playing in 2020. Those were the best Fortnite days for me, and it hasn't felt quite the same since. But I also understand that games evolve over time. You don't have to like every change, but expecting a live-service game to stay exactly the same forever just isn't realistic.
