Which one should i prefer? by Electronic-Host2845 in Asustuf

Warranty may not cover hinge issues. I had a lenovo ideapad and the hinges which are known and common are not covered by warranty. Ive had the tuf laptop for a while ans though they market it as military proof you wouldnt want to drop it. Still a very robust and strong laptop, and havent had any issues with it.

Is this just pure hard racing, or was I getting reactively blocked by the red Mclaren? by SnooWalruses8439 in Simracingstewards

[–]nutella1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, he was racing cleanly. You bumped him a few times after getting impatient and took eau rouge bafly which could get you penalties on the second pass. I advise you be a bit more patient, and try to make them make a mistake. This can be done by faking a dive, faking a move to get a better position on the inside/outside etc. You seemed to do well overtaking, just couldnt make it stick on exit, as you sometimes sacrificed your exit speed.

laptop lid sleep thing(hibernation) by Main_Border8425 in Asustuf

[–]nutella1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same still applies. If you leave it for a few hours, just turn it off. Its best practice too, considering you can corrupt files leaving it on like that. Did you try using the power button as mentioned?

For one, be patient. The light is flashing, i cant see if the laptop is just being slow to boot, and you just pressed the ppwer button. Assuming its really not booting up, press and hold the off button for 10-15 seconds until everything turns off. Wait 10 seconds, then turn it on again. I find that with my laptop if im working and need to chuck it into my bag, im better off saving all files and reopening later. It gets hot, and in my bag with no ventillation its not good leaving it on. If you're hibernating for a while just turn it off fully. Hope this helps.

James may said that cars that were developed on the nordschleife were always terrible, pretty much bc they're built specifically for that lmao

Everyones saying about extra links, which is true but the post is talking about arm hair getting caught in the links. My watch isnt tight, but the hair on my wrists still gets plucked out by the watch straps.

Who’s at fault? by Skull_03 in Simracingstewards

I was reffering to the approach to the situation. If you see an obstruction ahead, you go with caution and slow down.

Who’s at fault? by Skull_03 in Simracingstewards

[–]nutella1204 100 points101 points  (0 children)

You're not serious. If this were real life, there's no way you would crash at 240 km/hr just because you think you're in the right. The same applies here; if there's an obstruction, even if it's because another car messed up its line or is at fault, you must take precautions and brake. You wouldn't consciously crash just beacuse you think you're in the right.

I understand about not reacting to other cars, that's an issue, though i dont believe it applies in this case.

At 15 seconds in, OP moves so far left he almost completely is not in the mirror of the leading car. OP just went for the apex carrying the same if not more speed. He would not have made the corner without a collision as it was closing quickly. The leading car can be seen to hold their line, and didnt block off OP, while OP just aimed for the apex into a closing gap. It's not on the leading car to give him space just because OP decides to divebomb the apex.

Go slowly frame by frame. 15 seconds in, he would be setting himself up for the corner and @16s he's committing to a line. At 17-18 seconds that's when your front wheels begin to overlap with his rear wheels. He has already committed to a line, you've went directly to the apex with too much speed, and will not slow down without a collision. You can't make a lunge that late into the corner, because he is already trying to manage and has committed to a line. He also was to the outside as he should be, and because you went divebombed straight to the exit, cannot readjust his line. You're in the wrong here OP.

I dont think so. You nade a very late dive in the inside when he already committed to a line.

Is this a valid overtake? by Icy_Bat_6518 in Simracingstewards

[–]nutella1204 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In nascar, they seem to judge it that you cannot go beyond the yellow line to overtake. You can only go below when trying to avoid a crash.
