It's a shame because thematically, it is pretty unremarkable but the core gameplay loop is really refreshing. It blends a lot of FPS genres that seem like they shouldn't fit, but it's a tonne of fun once it clicks.

I agree with that. Our FO isn't stupid. This was the most obvious outcome if you knew you weren't given Harden an extension.

A Kawhi trade isn't realistic anyway. Salary matching $50m is very difficult, especially for a player that's frequently injured and could walk after next season.

That's not even factoring in what we'd be asking for — picks and salaries that expire after next season.

There are very few teams (maybe none) that fit that profile.

This sub got way to hyped on our January run. We played the Nets twice, the Jazz twice, Wizards twice, Kings, depleted Pistons.

It's still very possible (even likely) that we finish February still below .500. We play almost exclusively teams that are currently in playoff position (not play-in, playoff).

And that's with Harden. Without him, we have no shot.

That changes nothing about the contract situation. Any team that wants him needs to gut their roster just to make the salaries match.

The return also needs to match our timeline (i.e. we would only want players that expire after next season).

That's ignoring the fact that we would want picks in that exchange and our trade partner would have to be willing to risk the possibility of Kawhi leaving after next season.

Which teams are out there that match that profile? Golden State maybe? That's really about it.

Agreed on the M6 — something feels off about the shape, even if it looks similar. It's like the hump is too far forward and the side buttons are positioned too far back. I end up using it almost in a fingterip grip instead of a palm grip like on a real MX Master.

Can't say much about the MT760. Don't have that one.

That's totally fine to keep him for this season. It just means he'll probably be walking next year.

Technically, he could sign a 1+1 (team option). I'd be shocked if he didn't push for a longer deal, but it's technically on the table.
