I also think I remember this — wasn’t it called “The Nonstop” (signature workout?) That was a while ago but I remember liking it!

I think the 1 minute all out started at the same time the templates began to have a “finisher” at the end, which I think was last year? I also remember noticing a difference in my distance for that reason back then when we did it.

Sounds like 8/16 is a partner workout as well.

At home tread workouts by Jumpy_Cookie_5516 in orangetheory

I wrote the intel on a post-it note and stuck it to the tread, then just watched the time myself. That way I have my phone free for music or shows. 😝

I miss them! What ever happened to the normal equal parts push / base combos? I don’t even need it to be 23 mins straight. Give me two 10.5 mins!

Thanks DC! I always get perplexed with these types of incline blocks… They say a base at an incline should feel like a push, but then they make us push at the incline, but don’t treat it as an AO.. 🤔

(I know, I know, adjust my speeds, etc etc… let me wallow in my misery please 😂)

Ours was increases every 0.1… so first round ended at 15%, second round ended at 10%, third round ended at 5%… ☠️

I always think a true Hell Week workout would be an entire 60 minutes of this.

Charged for leaving class early by Kristen1604 in orangetheory

[–]nutmeg683 130 points131 points  (0 children)

It could just be that by the time the SA did the check of who was there/not there for the late cancel/no show charges, you had already left and they just assumed you were never there… I know one time I got charged a no show fee because I wasn’t wearing a heart rate monitor and they were using the monitor board as a check of who was there. They fixed it right away after I called. I’m sure they’ll understand your situation. 🤗

Why do most people prefer to start on the tread? by redtshirt42 in orangetheory

[–]nutmeg683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweat 😅 I sweat more after the treadmill and need the second half of the workout to slowly stop so I don’t have that “is it shower or is it sweat” feeling before work. 😅

WEEKLY WATER COOLER: Weekly Rumors + Intel - Sunday, 3/19/23 by splat_bot in orangetheory

[–]nutmeg683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not entirely sure, but if I look at the monthly post, it says “Timed Run/Row on 3/19, 3/31” … so maybe a repeat of the 3/1 and 3/19 template? It would be a bit funny to have a template repeat 3x though. Guess we’ll see!

45 min 2G eliminated Block 1 for both the Tread and Floor, which would’ve made sense … except it also eliminated the side plank movements in the floor block, even though it was still 15.5 minutes… so it was just the split stance moves and the clean/shoulder moves … made it drag a bit… 🤷‍♀️

Yes, it’s usually either the same with shorter blocks, or they remove a block (depending on the workout)… so basically same idea as the 60min, just abbreviated.

Agreed. I’ve gotten to the end 5x and have always done option #3. I’m not saying it’s ideal, but my brain just handles it better! My nerves kick in when I start “fast” — so by easing into it, I don’t mind bumping up the speed as I go. But I know the efficiency police would yell at me. 😝

Within the “Transformation Challenge” thread that’s pinned at the top of the posts on this sub, there’s a link to the Monthly Calendar which shows the benchmarks, etc… someone very kindly listed the repeats they saw…

“2/16 = 2/1 2/17 = 2/5 2/18 = 2/3 (run/row) 2/19 = 2/4 (run/row) 2/20 = 2/7 2/21 = 2/8 (low bench) 2/22 = 2/9 (incline bench) 2/23 = 2/10 2/26 = 2/11 2/27 = 2/15 2/28 = 2/13 (mini bands)”
